I think that some posters feel that AMBER's twin is going to come into the picture because of the new s/l with RYDER and someone said that little D is being threatened by TAWNEY and that AMBER's sis is hiding him. Some think SUGAR might be RYDER's mom!

Didn't REX STERLING, RYAN McNEIL, and the killer that NINA was married to (I drawing a blank right now, the one who died in the garbage trunk dumpster incident)all come back in various forms after they died?


Nina's ex-husband, David Kimble aka Jim Adams died in the dumpster. I don't remember him coming back as a ghost or anything, he may have.

Rex Sterling and PC III came back as ghosts to Katherine when she was heavily drinking.

Amber's twin, April Knight was on B&B. Tawny their mother put both girls up for adoption at birth. Amber's deal fell through and Tawny raised her.

Years later, April came to L.A., just in time to save Amber from an embarrassing and devastating situation for the Forresters and Amber.

Sugar was the prison guard at the mental institution where Sheila was locked up (B&B). Sheila bonded with her and gave her a large sum of money to help her escape from prison.

Sheila encouraged Sugar to get plastic surgery to look younger. Sheila drugged her and had the surgeon give Sugar her face. Sugar turned herself end as herself for helping Sheila. But they thought she was Sheila and put her in prison instead.

But WHO are these people that some feel are going to figure into the Young and Restless. People know more about past Y&R characters than I do I guess!

Eppy, AMBER, DEACON, TAWNEY(who some spoilers say is going to be RYDER'S mom), little D(DEACON'S son), SUGAR, and half of SHELIA's time are all from B&B and since they are sister soaps by the BELL'S many posters know the history/character's of both shows. That would be my best guess. JMO!

THANKS DAISY JANE I have talked about DK several times as he was one of my favorite VILLIANS so evil but I drew a blank. I remember both PC3 & REX being ghost and DK NINA had nightmares a couple of times. I thought VICTORIA was dreaming about the wedding that never was one time.

Hi Eppy,

Y&R and B&B are sister soaps. The characters' history goes with them when they crossover.

Sometimes the stories crossover like the case of Sheila and Sugar. Lauren was worried that Sheila was on the loose and not locked up at the mental institution. So, Michael goes to the place to see if Sheila is there. This story started on B&B but now it became part of Y&R when Michael went to see her. Instead, it was Sugar locked up and Sheila was running free unbeknownst to the others.

Now there's Deacon's situation with Amber and his son. It started on B&B now it's been brought over to Y&R.

Like clicquot1 said about the spoilers suggesting Ryder's mom could be Tawny or Sheila, I think we'll be seeing them before long.

That's kind of wierd because I remember when April Stevens first arrived on Y&R with Baby Heather (Paul's daughter). Later April found out she had a twin. Her parents had planned to give them both up for adoption, but ended up keeping April because she needed her mother's milk to survive. Then April searched for, and found, her twin sister. I can't remember the twin's name, but I think it's interesting how closely it parallels the B&B story--even the name, April!

I know they are sister soaps, but I wonder what makes the writers think Y&R viewers would be able to make connections with characters if they don't watch B&B, which is what I guess I am having a problem with. I didn't know Deacon from a bale of hay when he came on the show, yet it seems we were supposed to know everything about him and Amber - to me, none of it made any sense. Oh well, if they brought Brad back, I'd go for that!

I think it's another case of recycled stories, that B&B borrowed. The two shows seem to lack creativity.

Heather's mother - April Stevens' twin sister is Barbara Ann Harding.

It seems like things are coming full circle. The reason Patti began getting interested in Jack Abbott was because she was jealous of all the attention her family gave Paul, April and Heather. So, she went looking for someone, and Jack caught her eye!
