Quote Nubien: Quote mdtuttle: I thnik we can all agree that the baby/child getting sick and needed blood is a worn out story line. I think we can also all agree that Adam is not going to have a crisis of conscience anytime soon. I do think I have a way for the truth to come out though. Dr. Taylor, being wracked with guilt for his role in Adam's plans starts drinking to try and deal with his feelings. He finally decides, regardless of the consquences he has to tell the truth. He heads out to the ranch to see AShley and Victor ( he is unaware of the fact that they have split up) Of course he has had a few drinks and on the way there he loses control of his car. He is seriously hurt. Victor hears that Dr. Taylor is in the hospital in critical condition and of course, since he is so grateful for the care he gave Ashley he arranges to t ake care of everything to make sure the good doctor has the best care money can buy. Dr. Taylor wakes up from being unconsis, he is aware he is severly injured and does not expect to survive. HE calls Victor to his bedside and confesses not only his role in everything that has happened up to and including the baby being taken from Sharon and given to Ashley. He also enlightens Victor about Adam's role in everything. At first Victor does not believe it, but his curiousity gets the better of him and he arranges for a DNA test to be done. He finds out Ashley and Faith are not a match.. Then he manages to get a sample from Sharon and lo and behold Sharon is baby Faith's mother. This would serve two purposes. Not only would Sharon get her baby back, but Adam would finally have to face the music for his actions. Have you ever considered becoming a writer on Y&R? They could use some good writers with bright and realistic storylines like yours...... Several people have asked me that, and my answer is always the same. All Y&R has to do is call and make me an offer lol |

IA, Adam is sooo not going to have a crisis of conscience and tell anyone the truth! Equally, I don't think Dr. Taylor will either But, you raise an interesting senerio...what if Dr. Taylor does get critically injured (just not on his way to confess). Would he tell the truth on his death bed? I think that is entirely possible. Now, about Adam getting closer to Sharon...what if Adam falls for her, and decides to father another child with Sharon to, in his mind, replace the baby he stole from her (Faith) He is so capable of rationalizing that. AND he wouldn't have to confess his guilt. That s/l would take some time to play out, but the writers may not wrap up the baby switch for awhile! My last thought is that when the baby switch is revealed (!!) Adam will plant the seeds to blame "crazy Ashley". She was very irrational at the time, many people know it (Jack, Victor, Nikki, Adam, Estella, Rafe) so he may get away with it. Who would press criminal charges against "Crazy Ashley" anyway? Not Sharon and Nick, IMO. I wouldn't put it past Adam to try and put the blame on AShley. AS far as that goes I can't help but wonder if in the back of her mind Ashley knows herself that something isn't right. She had none of the normal post partum issues all women have like bleeding or sorness. Does she think she is Wonder Woman? Does she believe she has the ability to give birth and not have a single effect from it? She has to know on some level that things are not right. |

Good scenario, but Adams needs to be in the car with Dr. Taylor and suffer extreme injuries as well |

I think this might work...good thinking. I'm concerned that the writers think it would be a good idea to put Sharon and Adam together. I hope not as this will be my last viewing of the show. Terrible turn of events. |

That's a great scenario MD. I wish it would play out like you said before this year is up. Alas, we know that the writers are going to milk this current stupidity for all it's worth AND find a way to make Adam stick around for a long, long time - and unfortunately around Sharon. |

Lol. I hear ya Moniker. Adam is simply repulsive - worse than David Chow-Chow. But like David, we didn't get rid of him until then-head writer LML was gone because the actor was one of her pets, IMO. Now we have the same sick scenario with MAB and MM. They're trying to make Adam a leading character and are coming up with every repugnant storyline they can think of to keep him front-burner. |

I think you're right. Adam could work it so that it looks like Ashley faked her pregnancy in cahoots with Dr. Taylor and stole Sharon's baby. Adam could "discover" the truth and fool everyone again. |

I'm wondering if Sharon starts to wonder why she hasn't received a bill for Faith's cremation. She could start looking into it and find out that there never was a cremation done for "Faith Newman". Unfortunately, if they went this route, I could see her turning to Adam as a confidante about her suspicions and he would, once again, be able to slither his way out of it. I don't see her going to Nick to ask about it because a) she has moved on and b) she was the one who told him that the baby was being cremated, so it wasn't Nick who arranged it. Just a thought. |

Quote Oreo123: Ms Tuttle...I love the stage you set. But, alas...Adam has quickly become a core character an ain't going nowhere. To think he is gonna get caught orsent to timbuckto is setting yourself up for a big disappointment. JMO That would be a perfect scenario but I think Adam is going to be around for LONG time. Somehow he will get Faith back to Sharon while placing the blame on Ashley and Dr. Taylor. Then he will look like a hero to both Victor and Nick. My money is on Dr. Taylor taking the fall. |

The only good thing that might come out of Sharon and Adam getting closer is she might start to dig around a little in his past and discover some of his misdeeds. |

Alas, we know that the writers are going to milk this current stupidity for all it's worth AND find a way to make Adam stick around for a long, long time - and unfortunately around Sharon. I don't understand how any writer in his right mind thinks a Sharon/Adam pairing is in any way, shape or form desireable. It makes me want to puke and I haven't even had my breakfast yet! I'm with you on that one. I don't like what they did to Sharon with the bay supposedly dying. I was not fond of some of the things she has done in the past few months but she does not deserve this in any way shape or form. |

Great point, I wonder if Sharon start getting suspisious if she might even call the pshc hospital she was in and ask who came to pick up her baby's body. Won't she be surprised when they tell her they don't know anything about a dead baby being removed. |
