A way for Sharon to get her baby back

A way for Sharon to get her baby back

I thnik we can all agree that the baby/child getting sick and needed blood is a worn out story line. I think we can also all agree that Adam is not going to have a crisis of conscience anytime soon. I do think I have a way for the truth to come out though. |

Dr. Taylor, being wracked with guilt for his role in Adam's plans starts drinking to try and deal with his feelings. He finally decides, regardless of the consquences he has to tell the truth. HE calls Victor to his bedside and confesses not only his role in everything that has happened up to and including the baby being taken from Sharon and given to Ashley. He also enlightens Victor about Adam's role in everything. At first Victor does not believe it, but his curiousity gets the better of him and he arranges for a DNA test to be done. He finds out Ashley and Faith are not a match.. Then he manages to get a sample from Sharon and lo and behold Sharon is baby Faith's mother. This would serve two purposes. Not only would Sharon get her baby back, but Adam would finally have to face the music for his actions. While that is a VERY GOOD storyline that you have laid out somehow I am very afraid that TPTB will make the s/l of baby FAITH's return to her mother all about ADAM! I really am sad to say that I think ADAM's friendship will deepen and he will now want to return baby FAITH to SHARON(not saying she will return the feelings, though)but he will make himself out to be the hero and absolve himself of all blame by SETTING up eith DR. TAYLOR or ASHLEY much the same way that ole smilin JACK set up ADAM himself to take the fall alone(not making excuses for ADAM just stating what happened). I do like your scenario, better! |

I think Adam is already having feelings for Sharon. I also think if there was away for him to undo what he did without having to take resposibility he might do it. Not becuase he has all of a sudden become a pillar of morality, but because he might think this would be a way for him to get closer to Sharon. I suppose anything is possible but I don't see how he could lay all the blame for this on Ashley or Dr. Taylor for that matter without getting his own hands dirty. Which we all know is something Adam is not willing to do. In fact I can even see him tryin to keep Dr Taylor from comfessing. Maybe Taylor could have adiscussion with Adam telling him he wants to come clean. Adam would of course be opposed to this and could even be the cause of the accident that Dr. Taylor would have in an attempt to keep him quite. |

Mudtuttle your post was great. That would be a real good way for Sharon to get her baby back. Also I think if Adam did not know about an accident that Dr. Taylor would have or any of it. That Dr. Taylor would indeed confess without Adam stopping him. And then Adam would certainly get caught. |

Ms Tuttle...I love the stage you set. But, alas...Adam has quickly become a core character an ain't going nowhere. To think he is gonna get caught orsent to timbuckto is setting yourself up for a big disappointment. JMO |

Look how many other charecters have commited major crimes and are out of prison in a month or two. IF Adam got busted and ended up in prison he would probably hook up with someone that would take pity ob him and find a way to get him a lighter sentance. I do think he needsd to be found out though. |

They could use some good writers with bright and realistic storylines like yours...... |

IA, Adam is sooo not going to have a crisis of conscience and tell anyone the truth! Equally, I don't think Dr. Taylor will either  because any man who went as far as Dr. Taylor did to save his own hide, will always choose to protect himself first...no confession IF he expects to survive (drinking or not) .But, you raise an interesting senerio...what if Dr. Taylor does get critically injured (just not on his way to confess). Would he tell the truth on his death bed? I think that is entirely possible. Now, about Adam getting closer to Sharon...what if Adam falls for her, and decides to father another child with Sharon to, in his mind, replace the baby he stole from her (Faith) He is so capable of rationalizing that. AND he wouldn't have to confess his guilt. That s/l would take some time to play out, but the writers may not wrap up the baby switch for awhile! My last thought is that when the baby switch is revealed (!!) Adam will plant the seeds to blame "crazy Ashley". She was very irrational at the time, many people know it (Jack, Victor, Nikki, Adam, Estella, Rafe) so he may get away with it. Who would press criminal charges against "Crazy Ashley" anyway? Not Sharon and Nick, IMO. |
