Quote 2funny32: Great posts from EVERYONE!!!!! I, too, think DEAD is somehow an anagram and, thankfully, of the couple of times I watched B&B, one of the SL's was Amber and the baby Eric. Think she was married to or dating Eric Forrester, Jr.??? Remember her baby dying at birth in a trailer park, I think??? Then she took her cousin's baby?? THAT was Deacon's baby??? Cool!!! This might be interesting!!! BUT....as someone else asked....WHO IS DAISY?????? And on another note regarding Ouija boards. Please indulge me with the following story: It was the summer of 1972. We had just moved to a new city and I didn't know a soul other than a couple of kids my younger sister's age who lived in our neighborhood. Before we moved, my friends and I had begun dabbling with a ouija board and since it was cool at the time, my mom bought me one that I took with me when we moved. One night shortly after we had moved, I was alone in my attic bedroom (awesome room!) while relatives were visiting and I was bored, sad and desperately wanting to go back "home". Since I knew no one and had nobody to talk to, I decided to put both hands on the board and ask questions by myself. After a few questions, I honestly believed the pointer device was moving by itself so I decided to ask a question and take my hands away. IT MOVED BY ITSELF!!!!!! I am NOT making this up!!!!!! I immediately ran downstairs and NEVER set foot in that bedroom again!! I told my mother what had happened and asked her to go upstairs, get the ouija board and throw it away. She did, but I burned it the next day. (Those were the days you could burn your trash in your garbage cans). She redecorated the room, put a tv up there for me and everything, but I refused to set foot in that bedroom from that night on. My point? There IS something dangerous about ouija boards!!!! I am NOT making this up and I've never touched one since!!!!! My son even asked for one at one time and I told him I never wanted to see one in my house. They're EVIL!!! I'm telling you....that thing MOVED BY ITSELF!!!! I don't have any magical, kinetic(?) powers, esp, or anything like that, but it's an experience I've never forgotten and never will. I know this sounds crazy, but it really happened. STAY AWAY FROM OUIJA BOARDS!!!!! My daughter asks what were you smoking or drinking? Or was it the house in Amityville? |

I had a creepy experience with a Ouija board too. Some friends and I played the game and I honestly think everyone was moving the board to scare each other. But after we finished playing and put it back in the box under the bed everyone hurt a bumping sound coming from under the bed. The game board was actually coming up out the box hitting the bed!!!!! Talk about some nizzz getting the hell out the house we ALL DID. The owner of the game said "we have to tell it GOODBYE!! So she did. We tor AZZZ out of there. I think the D. E A.D. theory for ititals was genius!!! |

I thought so too Carmen (about the D.E.A.D. initials anagram)...your experience was very scary...almost like that movie "Jurmanji" where the game wanted to keep on playing by itself...but, that, my Dear, was in the movies...and, I know this is "soapland" and whatnot, but still, it's odd they would use a Ouija Board nevertheless... |

Didn't even know what "smoking" was other than cigarettes and back then, nobody that age ever drank. You can believe me or not....just thought I'd share my experience. I'm glad you were able to find the humor in something that scared the **** out of me!!!! (Trust me...I've questioned it many, many times!) Hopefully your daughter, nor anyone else will ever have to experience the fear that incident left me with. If you or your daughter want to play with one and see no harm, (obviously most people don't..nor did my mother who bought me one at my request...and they ARE still marketed) then go ahead. Just wanted to say that lots of so-called psyhics...(don't believe in them either) say to stay away from them. Just saying I honestly DO believe they're evil because I experienced it first hand. Not asking you to believe me, but hoping what happened to me never happens to anyone I know or love. |

There are mysteries in our universe that have never been explained...somethings defy logic or reasoning...there is more to this world than the molecules that make up humans or objects we can see or touch. Our bodies are but the houses in which we live...our spirit..our soul is the essence of who we are and the spiritual world is there.... |

When I was 13 my friend and I sat under a tree in my front yard and decided to have seance, to contact Houdini. (We had just watched a movie starring Paul Michael Glaser as Houdini- late 70's) We basically asked him to give us a sign if he heard us. That night the tree went on fire. It really did. It was a friday night and supposedly some kids were burning a halloween dummy and they threw it against the tree. LWe didn't care what the explanation was we thought we knew what really happened. We never had a seance again - it kind of freaked us out. |

Science seeks to explain all..religion accepts what cannot be explained. |
