In today's Canadian episode Michael agrees to help Gloria and Jeffrey recoup their losses from the Cayman bank fiasco. They want him to find proof that Victor knew about the bank''s problems and that he used inside info to get his money out before the bank collapsed. Michael admits that because he works for Victor, it would be illegal and unethical, but he still agrees to it. Lauren is looking at him in total disbelief. Wasn't it Gencor who explained that the bank collapsed because Victor took ALL of his money out and then there was none left for anyone else?

So on one hand, Michael is trying to find proof that Adam is underhanded while he is doing the same thing behind Victor's back. Another hypocrite!

Weird. Actually Victor knew nothing about the bank and it's financial issues...Nick (can you imagine?) told him about his interests being at risk and advised him to withdraw his liquid assets. Victor told Nick...do it! It was only a coincidence Gloria/Jeff and Jill's money was deposited there...he - for once - did not set out to destroy either of these three. It wasn't inside info Victor gathered - but maybe Nick got it while his father was otherwise occupied. Otherwise shame on all three of them for not keeping abreast of financial news! LOL Michael wil learn this and smash their newest scheme to get money.

I don't think Michael is nuts at all. There's been plenty of times when he has done the unethical, illegal and gone against TGVN.

One thing he does do is to look out for his mother, whether he likes it or not. Besides that she lost $50 million dollars in that bank.

A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned that the bank collapsed because Victor took all his money out of it. It had the other investors worried and they followed suit. He was the catalyst.

Someone else explained that Victor knew nothing about it. TGVN knows where his money is and what's happening with it. He has people, after all!!! LOL, his words.

I think Victor already had things set in motion sometime before that and used Nick to pull the trigger. And now, why else would they go back to the story of finding out what caused the bank to collapse? It's either Victor or Adam's doing.

Jill, Glo and Jeffrey had crossed the line with Victor shortly before that. He warned them not to mess with him, so it was his revenge.

WHATTTTTT! Is he trying to do a 1993 and be disbarred of course he was with the firm Gaines & Peterson then but still he promise Lauren no more family cases (I wonder will this cause problems with them), how the hell is he going to watch Adam ,watch Ashley like he promise Victor, help Gloworm & Jeff. Michael sure can jump on the Stupor trail when it comes to Glo. Wonder will Rafe get involve with any of this no signs that he has been cut yet.

I haven't seen the show yet, but it makes little sense. First, he and Lauren had a long talk about not always bailing out Gloria. Plus today he wouldn't even look at Phyllis' contract because of conflict of interest but now he might sue Newmans.

It makes no sense at all. Michael is smarter than that. There has to be more to this.

Don't forget, Jack told Billy that Victor is responsible for the Caymen Island bank collapse. Jack wanted Billy to put it in the RS article about Victor's "misdeeds".

So, this s/l (accusation) is being interwoven from several angles.

Jack got this info from Dumb and Dumber plus Jill when they were stranded on the Island.

I guess Lauren let him off the hook, when she more or less told him to go help Glo, Amber and Kevin at the bank when they went to get the Terroni painting.

I believe in the real world and with an attorney with morals and values it would be unethical. Like yesterday, he was chomping at the bit to call Phyllis and tell her TGVN was leaving town. I thought that was unethical. Phyllis is not his client. Phyllis should have learned the news from Nick nor Michael.

Michael was anxious to let Phyllis now TGVN was leaving town because of their conversation during which Phyllis told Michael she had reservations about working at Newman because of how she feels about Victor. He was acting as a friend....not an attorney.

Do you think Michael is playing them? Michael is Victor's personal attorney and is very loyal to him. I find it hard to believe he would go along with those two dimwits. Well, I forgot. Gloria is his mother. Why does he let her con him into these fiascos?

There is nothing wrong with Michael telling Phyllis, morally ethically or other wise.

The situation with Glo though is quite a different matter. Michael is on retainer by Victor and legally he cannot represent Glo, mother or not, it's a conflict of interest.

But then these writers don't do their homework and don't care. All they know is that some how they need to find a way for Glo and Jeff to be able to pay for Phyllis' place. At least until Tucker comes to town and she sets her sights on him. Yeah I know it is supoose to be between Jill and Nina, but Glo always finds a way to involve herself when talking high$$$$$
