She knows that there is bad blood between the Newmans, her son's family, and the Abbott's. Yes, Sharon is as dumb as a box of rocks and her brain is definately dim at this point. It doesn't take a mental giant to see this picture, but Sharon? She is so desperate for any attention that she will even stoop to befriend a man like Adam and ask for a job with a man that she knows is an enemy of her son's family. She just can't get it together or put it together, either way Sharon's lightbulbs are all out.
