Everyone stops what they're doing when Mrs Chancellor is on screen. She embodies the elegance and worldly experience that keeps the viewers running home from work to watch! I couldn't care less if Victor stays or goes, but Mrs C is the diva that carries the soap.

I like Kay, but how often do you see her on screen as of lately?

And if that were really true, most of these threads would be about her in some fashion.

In her heyday, maybe, not so in recent years.

Victor is embedded in almost every major storyline. That is undeniable.

ITA. Kay is the Y&R. I seem to recall we just had a whole few months of her when she lost her memory and met Murphy. How soon they forget! Of course she hasn't been on since then, that s/l took forever to complete. The woman was probably exhausted afterwards.
I love it when Kay is on and would rather watch her then Victor any day. I could care less if Victor leaves or stays but Kay then I would be upset!

Absolutely, ITA. They are both first class, all the way, and I am glad to be a big fan of theirs.

Yes! They are both wonderful actors and essential to Y&R. It will be a sad, sad, sad day for Y&R fans when either leaves GC

Katherine is my absolute favorite. I love how well she is written. No matter where else writers may veer off course, Katheine character is very consistent.

I LOVE how self-aware and wise Kay is. She told Victoria strong women have to have thicker skin (than Vicky was exhibiting). Words of wisdom to one so young

I think Katherine and Victor are Y&R!!And ITA about Katherine. I love to watch her give advice to the young people on the show. She is smart and she shows her love towards everyone. I love her. And Victor is in most of the storylines. It would be a shame if he did leave.

Katherine's advice to Nikki about Victor: "Decide what you want to do and DO it!"

Nikki: "Well, you certainly know how to cut to the chase."

What a gem Katherine is

ITA And Katherine always says the right thing at the right time and she can tell somebody something without yelling but she's right on when it comes to telling it like it is. She knows how to not be rude when it comes to telling someone what to do. She is someone I admire and I wish I could be like her.
