True SHARON did not know who the baby daddy was but NEITHER did PHYL the SECOND TIME! yeah, she knew the FIRST TIME because even though she drugged DANNY ROMALOTTI and said he was the baby daddy turns out they didn't even have SEX and PHYL was LYING all along! Yeah, ole BRIAN HAMILTON was the baby daddy and he sure didn't want to step up to the plate so PHYL plotted to be a rock stars WIFE so she could lounge on the sofa/couch all day just eating BON BONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Phyllis is a computer programmer by trade and has left herself a backdoor entry into Newman Enterprises Information Technology Department! She said so, herself! Even gave Kevin the passcode so he could gain entrance! What is a computer hacker? He or she is a very good programmer that can gain access to any low level security area! Never count Phyllis out! If Summer were Nick's bio child, she would never have let him walk out on her this past summer! She would have used the Summer card to the ultimate hilt! |

Actually her name is Newman there is a reason for that.....Summer was delivered by Jack and he had more activities in her life after her birth than Nick had. The nursery and all......makes one wonder as we all know that Phyllis is capable of messing with DNA results.... |

Phyllis didn't think that she could even have children. She was as anxious to find out who the father was as anyone else. Her mind was not on fixing the results, she was just too anxious to even know the truth. I think that this is all wishful thinking on the part of those fans who would like this to happen, but it would not fit the actual storyline. Then, if Nick really wanted to stay with Sharon, and supposedly he did, he would not have lied about the paternaty. If you remember back then, or look up the actual episodes, you will see the truth the way it was written. This was Phyllis's miracle, for her personally. Fixing the results wasn't even on her mind, she was so shocked about the happy event that she really didn't care who the father was, she was just very anxious to know and she told them both. If she would have wanted this to be Nick's child and she was being the Phyllis that you are describing, she would have never even told Jack, she would have just lied. Phyllis was amazed that she got pregnant and she was much too excited about this to even think of trying to fix it. Look it up, I am sure that you will be enlightened. |

I hope they keep summer as nicks child,summer sees it that way and the kids are the only ones who get hurt.And it would just be way to predictable. imo |

There are some fans that want her to be Jack's child in the worst way, I don't happen to be one of them. It makes no sense that Nick would lie. At the time he was wanting to save his marrige to Sharon and she had told him if the baby was not his they might have a chance but if it was she wanted a divorce. If he wanted to stay married to Sharon he certinaly would not have lied about being Summer's dad. I don't recall that at all. What I remember is, while Sharon was not happy about the prospect that Nick might be the baby daddy, she said she would still stand by him if the baby was his. The day he told her the baby was his at NE, she flipped because Nick told her Phyllis said he didnt' have to be part of the baby's life since he chose to stay with Sharon and Noah. Sharon believed that was a ploy on Phyllis' part to force Nick to choose between staying with Sharon or being with her and the baby. And that's when Sharon felt Phyllis was manipulating him, got upset that Nick didn't see it that way and she told Nick to "forget it!"; that she didnt' want him to stay with her out of obligation and stormed out of the office. To me, it's so simple and I don't get why some think Nick had to lie, in order for him to be Summer's dad. The show already established, not once, but TWICE, the precedent that the DNA testing lab in GC had faulty testing methods because of the false test results regarding Jill being Kay's daughter. So no lying needs to be involved here for Nick to have read the WRONG results. Simple. This issue isn't going to go away for a reason. Nick is NOT the father!

She certainly is a ABBOTT.....it didn't play out the way it did for no reason. As for the DNA testing, Phyllis is quite capable of anything when it comes to profit her. What was strange is that she didn't SEE the results just took Nick's word for it.....STRANGE INDEED... |

That was just ridiculous...UNLESS she aleady KNEW the results.
