TESTING NICK? Why would red have to test NICK? He just made a re-committment to her and his daughter. PHYL has NO REASON to "not" trust NICK as a matter of fact he has held NOTHING BACK unlike PHYL has has withheld her little "tryst" with ole smilin JACK. NICK has made a point of discussing several times in the past about no secrets.hmmmmmmmmmmmm. PHYL BLAMES ole VIC and doesn't want to be around him, check. She ask for a new house, check. NICK says "cool", check. PHYL finds out ASH is going to stay at the ranch and there is going to be a divorce, check. PHYL says, cool let's STAY at the ranch, check. NICK says, cool, check. NICK & PHYL sell the RS to the ENEMY COMBATANTS(errr. ABBOTT--BILLY BOY), check. PHYL is going to now work alonside her hubby @ NE, check. Which would have worked out fine for her because we all thought TGVN was exiting because EB was leaving Y&R,check. PHYL would be happy working for NE as long as TGVN would still be recooperating but we now know he will probably be BACK at NE in the next 4-6 weeks. Things should be ok for PHYLLIS if she just minds her p's & q's concerning ole VIC. But will she be "able" to do that? PHYLLIS has a "sharp" tongue and loves a quick SLAP to make her point but will she try either one of these with MR. MUMBLES as ole smilin JACK calls him. PHYL blames TGVN for PATTYCAKES peanutbutter kiss to poor little SUMMER. MANY, many, many, many characters were really involved in this whole game of oneupmanship between TWO very powerful tycoons including but NOT limited to DUMB & DUMBER(GLO & JEFF), PAUL, CHANCE, ADAM. Also if you really want to think about it you might as well BLAME NICK, SHARON, PHYL, and JACK. NICK & SHARON were having their affair and NICK said he was leaving PHYL. So the very NEXT SCENE PHYL is calling ole smilin JACK and then before you can count to ten they are getting busy on the ugh! sigh! couch with ole PATTYCAKES outside WATCHING. PATTYCAKES who is OBSESSED with ole smilin JACK so much so that she becomes overcome with jealousy and rage that she hurts an INNOCENT CHILD because of her obsession. Might as wll blame KITTY, MR. KITTY, ZAPPATO, and the little blackbird that PATTYCAKES killed to. PHYL take a look around TGVN is NOT the only one to blame in this "whole" mess.

I always enjoy reading your posts cliquot! They come with so much passion behind them! And I agree, TGVN is not totally responsible for this mess! But I couldnt have said it better myself!

Not everyone lives in the country. Some in the suburbs and some in the city. Children are raised in apartments all over this country and become healthy viable happy adults. City life is not all concrete. My preference was the burbs..I like living in a house because I always did. Some people prefer city/apartment life. Can't say it isn't a place to raise children. Many children raised in major cities - like Manhattan - have opportunities and are priviledged to be in a cosmopolitan atmosphere where there is diversity and culture. Nothing wrong with that.
Lauren and Michael are raising Fen in an apartment. Lily was raised in one. Perfectly fine. Phyllis and Nick could opt for the Penthouse and it wouldn't be a bad idea. Summer could always ride a horse when she comes of age at the ranch - if AShley will allow her to. LOL

Looks like Victoria and JT will be off to NYC for awhile and the Ranch is not going to be so comfy for Nick without his father or sister there.

As far as Sharon renting Colleen's/Abby's house...Noah is now a senior in HS and hardly ever home. He is leaving to do prime time and will eventually be written off as in college. Already there were excuses for him not being at the christening taking SAT's. THe house is for Sharon and her baby when it returns.

I have nothing against anyone who doesn't live as I have chosen to but to take a child who lives on a ranch and move them , say to an apartment would be a culture shock. Children who live in large cities do have a cosmopolitan atmosphere but that takes a lot of cash to indulge.At least the Newmans have tons of that.
