She should be a politician!

She may still be docked but the bilge pump is breaking down.

I agree with you. There is nothing exciting about this character unless you like people who commits crimes and gets away with it......

So true Phyliss is a shell of her old self begging for a man who docked his boat elsewhere over and over again.I agree her ship has sailed and she does not have a lifejacket on to jump ship and swim back to shore.Any woman who bites her tongue to please a guy is a sellout remember her telling Michael she could not be herself and react to her husbands cheating cause then she would lose him.Well by putting a muzzle on her mouth she lost her pride along with him for a period of time what a sellout.

She doesn't have herself muzzled completely. I have noticed she takes a lot of cheap shots at Nick about how many times he had sex with Sharon. She had better watch it. She may say out of one side of her mouth that she is over it but the other side shows differently. Phyllis could be the cause of her marriage breaking down.

Being a l o n g time viewer...I remember Lauren...a biotch..nasty and evil. Michael...ditto. Let's not even talk Katherine. Jack..if you think he is something now..when he was Billy's age...geesh!

Phyllis is just another character who has evolved...let her as long time fans let Lauren, Katherine, Nina, and Michael. Wherever it takes her....let it be. People grow in real life as in fiction. Do I like Phyllis without her edge? She still has it. It ain't over "Till the fat lady sings".

Quote laurie6: I like phyliss i think she is great i dont like her with nick i think nick deserves to be alone forever, and phyliss definately did not take advantage of nick he choose to have an affair with phyliss, she was wrong to do it but she did and then sharon did the same thing so that makes them both wrong.

PHICK are great together. They are the epitome of a modern high powered corporate couple. Actually Phyllis is more of Newman than Nick is. She is just as smart as Vicky and she can be just as ruthless as Victor. Remember a company Phyllis co-founded (NVP) is now part of the Newman empire. Phyllis also made millions from the sale of RS. Yes, she is a wonderful asset to this corporate family.
It seems the business storylines are about to take center stage again. Excellent! Now the best and brightest can come forth. Great to see Jill is coming back to Jabot, Phyllis and Vicky at NE.

Yeah, but you know, Cookie, this is what I thought the thread was about - - and I, like you, like her because of her edge. I also like Sharon. Oh well, it is just a soap and, once again, MS should be proud, very, very proud that she has so many "hate" fans - - this will keep her on this soap for many years to come! Agreeing with you and the original poster - - we like her with her edge, and it is still there!

Quote Memory24: I don't know it depends.

I hated Phyllis when she first came on cause she messed up Danny and Cricket.

Phyllis was out there and I always felt bad for POOR JOANIE she had to deal with the brunt of everything.

But Phyllis was exciting to watch because I didn't know what she was going to do next.

I was always hating her. Then she came back and her relationship with Jack started. I hated when she helped Brittany ruin Mac and Billy. So that was strike two against her for messing up another one of my favorite couples.

But I still watched her. I loved her Jack together.

Then she got with Nick and well I think everyone knows how I feel about that.

I just think Phyllis needs a juicier s/l.

A reporter from SID asked Maria Bell about Phyllis' past misdeeds. Ms. Bell's said Phyllis, Kevin and Michael are all compelling characters so we overlook their misdeeds. Or words to that affect. In other words, they are great characters and we don't care what they did in the past. So um there it is.

Well since Nick and Sharon have been divorced for years and he is in love with and married to another woman, I guess Sharon's way of dealing with Nick's cheating didnt' work to well did it?

Hello everybody - - I just posted this above in response to Oreo's post:

"Yeah, but you know, Cookie, this is what I thought the thread was about - - and I, like you, like her because of her edge. I also like Sharon. Any reason somebody hit the BP button over this?

I'm moving on - - this is very childish and inconvenient for other posters and the moderators.

Phyllis ship has sailed, but her marriage is in the dingy.
Nick is still totally IN love with Sharon. Phyllis still has him because of Summer...even she knows that.

In the end.. Nick belongs with Sharon. He is a wus. Phyllis ia a dynamic individual. She is too much a women for Nick as Amber is for Daniel. Give Sharon to Nick and let it be done.
The heart goes where is wants.. Is Paul better for Nikki...is Chance better for Chloe..is Refale better for Mac..... whatever....
