I remember a time about 10-12 years ago when Phyllis' character was one that fans couldnt get enough of. She was always keeping us guessing and her storylines were always something worth watching...Lately the writers are having Phyllis follow Nick around like a little puppy dog. What happened to the fun, exciting, spontaneous devil that used to roam Genoa City sneaking into DNA labs and leaving snakes in peoples beds? I miss her and think her character has turned into a snoozefest. Phyllis has so much potential!! Anyone agree?!?!

I have never liked Phyllis. She has done so many wrong things, she could never be redeemed. For example, breaking up Shick's marriage and taking advantage of Nick when he was in a very vulnerable state. I like her with Jack, but if I could write the storylines, I don't know if I would put her with Jack or tell her "Adios. Your contract has ended."

I have never liked the Phyllis character so it doesn't matter to me whether she is the old evil Phyllis or the new and improved Stepford Wife Phyllis.I really could not care
less what she does as long as she stays away from Sharon.

yeah, i agree that I don't like Phyllis, but I do think she is exciting. The past few years she has been a bore. I prefer watching CRAZY PHYLLIS - the one that would stop at nothing to get what she wanted.

I'm not going to touch this one, except to say that if her "ship has sailed", there must have been a mighty big ICEBERG to stop it!

ITA Phyllis has changed and I think that one of the problems is the fact that she hasn't been given a lot of time on the show lately and then like a lot of other characters she is gone for a while. And when she is on, she is always hanging onto Nick and she doesn't do anything else. I hope that she will be given more to do and better story lines. I think that she is a really good actress but she definately has changed.

I could never stand Phyllis - no matter what; she's loathsome. But her ship has definitely sailed since they've tried so hard to shoehorn her with Nick and try and make them a believable couple. They're just not, nor will ever be and Phyllis' character traits that made her popular to those who liked her have been watered down into nothingness. Phyllis is a snoozefest and all she does now is cling to Nick like a needy, sad, obsessed woman. Stick a fork in her; Phyllis is done.

I was never a huge fan of Phyllis, but I loved to hate her about 10-12 years ago. I didn't like her, but I thought she was a really exciting character.

Now, she's just become someone like any other woman on the show, following around a man. Her character has become a whole lot less exciting and more boring, and I, for one, am mostly indifferent to her now.

I believe that they way they have Phyllis behaving is just too much. I have never been a Phyllis fan but at least when she was playing the "evil" Phyllis she was interesting to watch. The "old" Phyllis would never have let Nick bounce around back and forth! She would have made him grovel to get back with her. Now she is just like yeah, ok so you slept sround and paraded your preggers ex-wife around for a while but now you say you want back in ..... um ok! She would have never let him back. She at least had backbone. It is sad to watch. I almost feel MS faking her scenes. With that said I dont like her character and she is in the way of my Sharon/Nick reunion. Sorry

I like phyliss i think she is great i dont like her with nick i think nick deserves to be alone forever, and phyliss definately did not take advantage of nick he choose to have an affair with phyliss, she was wrong to do it but she did and then sharon did the same thing so that makes them both wrong.

i have to agree with you soulsistah.
they are not and never were a believable couple. never. she is a stage 5 clinger tho. reminds me of the sock stuck on your sweaters back
couldn't stand her when she first slithered into gc and i can't stand her now.

I think MS is a great actor, but I wish the writers had not changed her so much. She was a good villainess & fun to watch. Now they have her wimpy & supposedly nice. It's hard to like the nice Phyllis, because it's all tied to Nick whom she seduced away from Sharon. Wish she'd go back to her dirty deeds, but the writers seem to have decided to redeem her. So I guess we're stuck with the new, improved Phyllis, but I won't ever like her with Nick!
