Feeling sorry for Sharon was never ever a reason for me to like her.I have loved this character since day one and not in any way shape or form was it because I felt sorry for her.No one that I know that likes Sharon has ever said to me that they like her because they feel sorry for her.We like her because she is just an incredible actress.She is a very likeable character.A normal every day all American girl.She is a classic natural beauty with a wholesome girl next door appeal.Some one that a normal person can relate to.Period.

But I have enjoyed them because of Sharon Case. She is the only reason I am still watching Y&R. I don't watch Soaps like I used to because I don't think they are as good as they use to be. Hello everyone. I’m new to posting on this board, although I have been reading it for a few years now. I wholeheartedly agree that Sharon Case is my favorite actress on Y&R. When they gave her that horrible storyline with her sleeping with Nick, Jack and Billy and the Klepto storyline and completely melting down, I believe that TPTB were really trying to destroy this character and lose her her fanbase. However, because she was such a good actress she was able to make her sympathetic to a lot of the viewers and they weren’t able to do it. Even though I was getting really tired of her self destructing, I was still with her as I’m sure all of her fans are. |

Fep I have to agree the writers were trying to hurt her character with her fan base in order to boost other character's ratings.It didn't work and it will never work.We have loved the Sharon character from the first time she appeared on our t.v. screens and we will always love her.And by the way welcome to the boards.Always glad to welcome a fellow Sharon fan.

Your faves happen to be KATHERINE, JILL, and CHLOE that's great for YOU and that's YOUR FAVES. The thread is NOT titled winning actresses with dynamic scenes. EVERYONE has a FAVORITE and they are entitled to said favorite for "whatever" reason. People like or dislike a character for their own reasons or past experiences or maybe even because the character reminds them of a friend, relative, or even a best friend who is no longer with us. Relax and enjoy "your" favorites................................................. |
