Just wondering? I know I haven't been on the message board in a while! But where did Ashley's baby bump go? Where is her dead baby? We all know Adam did not really deliver her baby. She didn't really go into labor!!!! So do the writers just think we are stupid? Or did I miss something? Please help me! If she did not deliver a baby she would still be walking around with a dead baby inside her! In real life a doctor would have induced labor to deliver the fetus. Just wondering if anyone else has been thinking about this?

I would really like to know why myself. do the writers think we're stupid? this is a crazy s/l.


Does anyone know why she doesn't have a baby bump?

Ashley miscarried when she fell down the stairs after Adam frightened her. The rest of her pregnancy and childbirth were all "hysterical". Mind over matter. The mind believed the body gave birth so voila,,,,no more baby bump. It's rare but it does happen. Some women can produce milk afterwards.

I had a miscarriage where I had no fetus in me, but I still had to get a D&C so I wouldn't get an infection. We never saw Ashley get a D&C, so that's why this story is unbelievable.

Mind over Matter for her maybe...but we as viewers wondered if she miscarried then why the heck she still had that baby bump. It did look as though it was getting bigger. They could have had her stomach disappear with the miscarriage and still have her think its growing..This baby thing is really unplanned. I think the writers threw this together even they forget she has a baby now, thats why she forgets and runs out the house like she doesn't have a baby in the home. I'll be glad its over!

Oh for sure, bold beautiful! But she had Dr.Taylor checking on her. WE know she should have needed a D&C but the writers obviously don't.

And yes lovin, hysterical pregnancy does make the body look pregnant. The mind convinces the body to react just as if the pregnancy is real. It truly is that bizarre.

Thank You! I had forgotten about her falling down the stairs and all the blood. But they did not show Adam getting rid of a fetus. So I was thinking she was still carrying a dead baby! (I can't believe we are even discussing this. This story line is so crazy!) But everyone is right. You would still need a D & C after a miscarriage. I just want Sharon to get her baby back. And not when it is 21. Adam makes me sick.

There was a scene where Adam was cleaning up a lot of blood but we really didn't need to get too graphic with this. It seemed to be implied that there were more products of that miscarriage that we really didn't need to see.

This is kind of a gross subject, but you don't always have to have a D&C following a miscarriage. I had a miscarriage, and upon examination, dr said I was fine & did not need a D&C.

My question is this. Will Ashley & Sharon go for six week postpartum checkups? If so, we know Dr. Taylor will lie to Ashley, but Sharon's real doctor will be able to tell her that her baby was not abnormally formed (ultrasounds) & maybe at that point, things will begin to come together to straighten out this horrific storyline. Not soon enough for me!

Absolutely she would have to have a d&C that is a medical fact..especially as far along as she was. It is this kind of stuff that burns me because some women maybe don't know things like this. Ashley should have croaked with infection by now and have a raging fever.. it is all so sad.. so morbid and just ugly.. now they are planning a baby from cancerous ovaries! ENOUGH..women are not that stupid..I pray not anyway!!

I must agree this is ridiculous, what happened to her bump. Not to mention her miraculous recovery after such a hard birth, tis not even believable. I hope the writers wrap this SL up soon and not let it drag on.

What is truely too much is that both Sharon & Ash are in the same mental hospital & Ash goes into "labor" at the exact same time as Sharon's premature laBOR????????? And no nurses /doctors on staff assist? And Adam & Doc Taylor are both present??? No one questions Dr. Taylor??? Adam steals "Baby Doe's" ashes which are out in the open not locked up. Yes it's all far fetched even for a soap.

Personally I'd like to see Doc Taylor committ suicide & send a confession to the Police Dept & have Chance end the s/l. I'd love to see C hance put Adam in jail. Ash take care of Abby is enough for her. Faith go home to Sharon. Ash can move in w/ Jack. Just end the s/l before the hoildays

Yeah but which holiday? Your Thanksgiving, Christmas or do we have to wait until Easter 2010 to get this over & done with? I'm still very disappointed with the writing on Y&R in the past few months but still checking in now & again to see if anything has improved NOT so lucky so far.

When is Ashley going to find out Faith is not her child? When is Sharon going to get Faith back? I don't want to see that kid grown up before she finds out.
