Head Y&R co-writer Scott Hamner says "Cane stirs up trouble for Mac and Billy and might finally get a bit of appiness on the homefront.
Lily has had a tough time dealing with Cane's past deceptions. Hamner says that Lily will finally come to terms with Cane's betrayal and open her heart to him yet again. "They're really going to deal with the issue of broken trust, and they are going to come together, making love for the first time since she found out that he was an imposter." Hamner continues, "It's going to lead to a whole series of events for the couple which will give them hope. They are going to make some plans for their future."

Thanks for the spoilers. That is excellent news for Lane. The trouble that Cane stirs up is probably Billy telling Mac he doesn't want her being friends with Cane. And if that is the case, how dare he? Isn't Billy friends with Lily? Anyways I also love that Cane stirs up trouble for Mac and Billy (what goes around comes around). It is about time Cane stir up trouble for Billy.

No, i'm sure that won't be a problem he knows better than to tell Mac not to be friends with Cane, how can he when he and Lily are Friends, Cane might be checking Billy about Mac to treat her right or something, But i'm glad about Lily and Cane they have come a long way and Cane has certainly proved his LOVE to Lily, so i hope the good news is shes going to be just fine.

Cane makes trouble for Mac and Billy because Billy plain and simple is jealous of Cane,period. He doesn't want Cane having a relationship with anyone he cares for no matter how innocent. He doesn't want Cane to have a relationship with Jill or Kay. He tried to intervene when he knew Lily needed Cane by not even trying to help in finding him for Lily and telling Cane Lily didn't want him around. So he will definitely have problems with Cane being a friend of Mac's even though she's not only his friend but Lily's as well. Like Niptuck said Billy is such a hypocrite he can be a friend to Cane's wife but Cane can't be a friend of his girlfriend. Soon both Lily and Cane will give him a reason to really blow his top over their friendship. How many enemies can one man have in a city?

Great news. About time there was something coming out about our Lane. Looks like if we just hang in there a while longer we're going to get what we want!!! Can't wait.
