But she will downtalk the Abbott's. She doesn't remember that Jabot went downhill AFTER her buddy Gloria tainted the cream, and sabotaged Jack?? The PR nightmare wasn't Jack's fault, although he took full blame and was banished from his own family company.
If Kay loved and admired John as much as she professes, she would give the company back to the righful owners and quit throwing it in their faces that they don't own it anymore.
She is a piece of work.
She has done so much wrong that she has no right to throw anything in Jacks face.
She definately doesn't belong on a pedastal.

Thanks, Iv'e been feeling this way about her for a long time now and not surprised because who isn't expected to kiss Victor's butt? Same goes for her kissing Nikki's and Phillis behind being kissed all the time, it's sickening.

Interesting viewpoint. Katherine was John's good friend...even in death admires and respects his life. Not Jack. Not Ashley either.

Katherine is Victor's friend. She is loyal to her friends. While she gives Victor a piece of her mind every now and then, she was scared to death he would die. Even Murphy knows their long history and asked Victor to be his Best Man at their wedding. Jill recognzed Katherine's anguish over Victor's crisis and went to sit with her at the hospital.
Nikki is Katherines best friend. Through the years she never took sides with Nikki or Victor when their love life hit the skids. She didn't feel the need to be judgemental. Only supportive of both of them.

Jack and Victor tortured each other. Jack's business suffered not only at the hands of Gloria's tampering with the face cream but for his own vengegence that took his priorities away from business. She stepped in and saved her friend John's legacy. Jack should be grateful she did. On the aside..Gloria is no friend of Katherines. She said so herself.
It was Victor who coerced Jill into signing the papers to prove Katherine was Katherine by paying her to do it.

Katherine knows about Jack and his past with Patty....she will never allow Jack to vindicate himself from how he toruted Patty as a young girl that sent her into a mental downward spiral. Katherine knows it was Jack who wrote the scandelous article about Sabrina while married to Victor.
Katherine is aware that Nikki selflessly went to Ashley (her long time romantic enemy) to save Victor. She knows how Ashley is behaving. She always knew Victor loved Nikki and Nikki - Victor.
Yes Katherine told Jack how precarious Jabot is at the moment and that Billy left and Ashley may not return....dangerous ship with half of its mates and only a Captain who isn't in total control with his personal life spinning out of control. She tells him so and that Jill will be on board to assist sailing this ship out of rough waters....and reminds him it is why MJ was hired..to put the spin on things as only a good PR exec could. And we all know what a bad exec decision that was.

Katherine and Victor have been friends and business Allies for 30 years. They will always be loyal and protective of each other.

really people,doesn't take much to figure it out,is a soap.now you should worrie more about the acting and what a wonderful actors they are letting go instead of who is kissing whose behind. so to the people who think OMG what at terrible man victor newman is ,remember he is playing a role and what and incredible actor he is to have kept us watching all this years . myself personally is he leaves the show ,am done with it. I truly believe that the some of the writters should go, and to the rest of you keep in mine more "mature " people keep you on the air , as we have more time to spend at home . thats for your demografic deparment/// thanks for this forum ... and I will say it again . Jack has never tried to sugar coat how he treated Patty over 25 years ago, Victor on the other hand does, he takes absolutely no responsibility for what he has done to this woman and for that I'm glad he will be gone for a while hopefully, need a break from him and flaky Nikki. As for Katerine she could go scratch and try to figure out what happened to her real daughter instead of going around town giving all kinds of unnecessary advice, especially to foolish Nikki.

Whoa Y&R buddies! Many fans are very sensitive right know over Eric's leaving and emotions are raw....these are 25+ year fans....let's just agree to disagree...these times are hard enough!
