yes, all of you are right. This is making everyone sick. Switching babies is the final straw. Seeing these ghosts was one thing but tearing babies from their mother well that is not acceptable. This is just cruel. I too hate watching when I see that dumb Ashley with this baby that she doesn't even remember delivering. What a bunch of crock. How can you not remember delivering a baby? How stupid is this show becomming. I hope that these writer's start reading some of these messages. Or is it that they are intrigued and are actually having fun by reading some of these messages because they know that the viewers are getting involved with the show more. Maybe that was their intention all along hey? Anyway, whatever the reason is please please give this baby back to Sharon soon. At least before Christmas. That would be the perfect gift. Finally a story line that we can enjoy and cry over. They used to have such beautiful storylines before. So real and worth watching. Now everything in this soap is doom. It is so dark. Even the christening was gloomy. And that poor Sharon in the background listening to the baby cry and watching Nick holding her and then Adam seeing her and then going to try to make nice. Oh God please don't let Adam be Sharon's new love interest or I will surely die!!!!!!!!!! |

Quote babygirl22: I agree Sharons been through alot to make her go through this for a long time. I already quit watching the show since they did that to Sharon. Please give her baby back like NOW!!!!

I think that it's wrong that you have to switch babies on tv, we have so much babies/kids getting kidnapped now days and this doesn't help any. |

Quote purplepassion1: You really think the writers care ??????? They have ruined the show ... making a psycho the focus of the soap .. letting victor leave and adam take over .. how much more sick can it get on top of everything else !!! I do NOT watch it anymore and never will again .. until they get some writers with brains !!! |

I'm going to ask that no one bash me for writting this. I am going to play "devils advocate" and please just take a step back for a moment. |

The kidnapping (it was not a switch) has brough alot of drama and not just for Sharon to the fore. Seeing Nick - if you are watching - sitting alone in the chapel in a quiet moment during the christening.....the look on his face every now and then. Ashley's eerie smile when talking to the baby or about her...Victor's plans for Faith (spoiler talk can't say here)....Traci and Victor at the christening...beautiful - Victor even wiped a tear from his eyes. The baby, being Ashley and Victor's has brought with her, many changes to both the Abbott and Newman families and many characters actions and feelings have evolved because of this. Faith's birth changed many lives. |

Faith's birth changed many lives. Faith's identity will become known. Again many lives will change. Funny how a little baby is creating more drama and change than even TGVN or any other character! Let the story play out and enjoy the drama..this fan is. I can see your point Oreo. We are giving the writers exactly what THEY want, which is attention through controversy. That is ALL they care about. It's the same with the Nick/Sharon/Phyllis triangle. We are all up in arms for one reason or another. Josh Morrow said the road back to Shick would not be easy remember? He guessed that both fanbases would be upset. He wasn't kidding! I find it hard to watch because I lost 2 little boys before birth. This was 29 and 21 years ago. I think of them on their "birthdays" and wonder what sort of men they would be had they lived. Yes I have four living children but I can relate to Sharon's pain so much. I get annoyed with those who think she should just snap out it. Sorry for the TMI |

I so agree with all of you I can not stand to watch sharon hurting it is so wrong to do this to her they should have found out about adam and the dr. not this if he does not tell her soon or somehow get a message to her so she can start to investigate this I will also not watch anymore I already fast forward even now I can not watch it the first time at least this way I can skip the parts I do not like which has been most of them lately. get this overwith now..... |

I'll be really p*$$ed if they go the old standby route--baby gets sick, needs help from parent/sibling, WHOA, no match. What COULD be happening! Y-a-w-n. |

Yes I have four living children but I can relate to Sharon's pain so much. I get annoyed with those who think she should just snap out it. Sorry for the TMI I don't think those that think one should "snap out" of losing a child after only a few weeks, has ever experienced the death of a loved one, never mind a baby. The grieving goes on for a long, long, time - years. But here's my sticking point: the previous writing regimes KNEW how to write drama-filled storylines that were well-thought out, pretty realistic and did NOT involve the never-ending torture and inhumane treatment of women, children and pets. Maria Bell and her team clearly do NOT know HOW to write drama without it being dark, twisted and, frankly, sadistic. This writing is NOT reflective of what's kept Y&R #1 for so many years before and it's because of this team's inability to write creative, well-told, drama-filled storylines that aren't twisted and demeaning and cruel to women that viewers are tuning out -in droves. This inhumane s/l of Adam and what he's been doing to Ashley and Sharon has been going on for months and months and the kidnapping of Sharon's baby is the vilest of them all, which can't go on much longer if Y&R still wants to have any semblance of it's ever-dwindling viewership remain. To me, if you can't write a drama-filled storyline that does not REPULSE and turns viewers off from watching, then you are not a capable writer. The point is to keep viewers watching, not make them stop watching. MAB and her team are a huge fail, IMO, and I stopped watching months ago because of it. |

Quote brand: My feelings exactly. I want to scream and would do anything for the writers to consider the lives destroyed by Adam's sick actions. They can't make us like him or accept him until he has acknowledged to Ashley, her family, Estella, Rafe, Dr. Taylor, and definitely Sharon how he had manipulated everyone. Only then can we look beyond to maybe feel sorry for him. Now he has Victoria's life that is already in a mess, torn up too. He should also confess that he ruined his own eyes and no one beat him up... |
