For the life of me I cannot understand why anyone would think, (not just Nick and Phyllis)sex on a desk , table, etc, would be a turn on. That has to hurt and be very uncomfortable, all shows do it. WHY?

I agree that it is a bit much, but maybe the writers think that they are giving the audience a bit of fantasy for those who watch. Nick and Phyllis are so funny that they can carry it off, but in alot of storylines on all of the soaps there is always this scene in the office. On the desk, the couch, even on the show Mad Men, they have alot of it. Maybe it is just a fantasy thing.

The know how of writers probably. For Phyllis its not uncoman its a simple "daja vue" she's used to it.....did it with Michael Baldwin back in the days.....she's been there done that.....she's that type of woman..

Creativity is not the writers forte......they lack knowledge of it.
