Quote Demus: From 60 Minutes Correspondent Andy Rooney (CBS) As I grow in age, I value women over 40 most of all. Here are just a few reasons why: A woman over 40 will never wake you in the middle of the night and ask, 'What are you thinking?' She doesn't care what you think. If a woman over 40 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it. She does something she wants to do, and it's usually more interesting. Women over 40 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you if they think they can get away with it. Older women are generous with praise, often undeserved. They know what it's like to be unappreciated. Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to a woman over 40. Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 40 is far sexier than her younger counterpart. Older women are forthright and honest. They'll tell you right off if you are a jerk if you are acting like one. You don't ever have to wonder where you stand with her. Yes, we praise women over 40 for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed, hot woman over 40, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year old waitress. Ladies, I apologize. For all those men who say, 'Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?', here's an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage. Why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage! Andy Rooney is a really smart guy! |

Quote Debrajo: Quote countryMomof4: All I'm saying is that your life and your value to society don't stop after you're 40! Neither does your sex drive, your LOVE life etc. I'm talking about sex at WORK people, nothing else. I guess where I worked, you didn't have time for this kind of stuff because you were..... working. That's why those two are so hard to take seriously. It's always just about raunchy sex to them. I am wondering why sex betwen Nick and Phyllis is "raunchy" and the sex between Nick and Sharon is so pure? Nick and Phyllis are married, they are a hot couple and they have sex. If you don't like them fine, but those two having sex is no different than anyone else on this show having sex. When Nick and Sharon were shacking up at the cabin, they had sex on the couch and on the floor. The shacked up at the No-Tel Motel and all they did was rock the mattresses. Married people have sex and Nick and Phyllis have a very healthy sex life and marriage. I don't know what all of the fuss is about. Married people have sex. No married couple's sex is purer than the other. Sex is sex and married people have it all of the time. Nick and Sharon were shacking up and there was nothing pure about the sex they were having, it was even adultry. |

Quote Debrajo: Quote countryMomof4: Actually there is a news story concerning the whole Bernie Madoff fiasco in the states. I Read that there was lots of office sex and coke parties. There is a civil suit now by the shareholders. There are repercussions and responsibilities to ones employees and shareholders. I doubt the Board at Newman would have been happy to know that Nick was playing around instead of looking after business. That was my real point. If you got horny at church would you take your mate and hide in the bathroom for a quickie? There's a time and place folks, that's all I'm getting at. Exactly CountryMom.That is what I meant too.If some one had walked in on them or got this on film or a picture there could be all kinds of bad publicity, black mail etc.To me it would not be worth the huge risk you are taking for some desk sex even if your husband does own the company. AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW come on. It's NOT like it would be PHYLLIS's FIRST 'sex" tape. Right? Ya'll remember when she blackmailed DR. TIM REID who was ordered by the court to give her an evaluation? She blackmailed him with a SEX TAPE. |

Well I just don't feel like they are serious about their marriage. With them it's all about cheap thrills.I don't think they have any respect for each other or they wouldn't do all these tacky things.I would have more respect for my work place and co workers. With these two it's more |

They have a very playful side to their marriage. That is what keeps a marriag alive. That is what keeps a marriage interesting and fun. Marriage is not all about depression and moping around and sobbing and crying and it is great to see them enjoy each other, be intimate with each other, playful and fun. If you don't have that in a marriage, then you don't have much. They have much respect for each other, since they are back together they have learned what is important to them and that is their trust and their family. Nick and Phyllis are a great couple, on the couch, at the festival, at work, on the desk and anywhere else they choose to be happy and playful. They are married and they love each other. Everybody is entitle to their own idea of marriage, but that is not to judge others of their own idea of marriage if it does not fit the myth. |

It's like posters think they are "dirty" because they don't limit the sex to a properly made up bed. They are a married couple and as long as no one else is there watching why can't they have sex wherever they want? It's not "dirty", it's marital sex! I can remember that the first 5 years of marriage are wild with passion. Why is that wrong? They say if you put a bean in a jar everytime you have sex during your first year of marriage, and take one out for everytime after that....you will never empty the jar! |

Office tryst happen all time. No biggie. Nick was getting busy with his wife, not his secretary or some other employee. As long as Nick is with his wife, I have no problem with it. It's the cheating that bothers me. That's when a marriage is in trouble. The fact that a man and wife are so hot for each other is very healthy. |

Gencor i totally agree with you they have alot of fun together and that is how it should be they are very attracted to each other,I wouldn't want a marriage that was boring, me and my boyfriend play games all the time it is very fun and takes your mind off of your problems for a little while. |

I have enjoyed reading all these posts and some of them are very funny. I say that there's nothing wrong with a married couple enjoy each other. No matter where it is. If they can get away with office sex that's ok. But the getting caught would be embarrassing and would probably result in the firing of someone but Nick is the boss. Phyllis his wife. Nothing wrong with that. And Demus I liked your post about women over fourty. Thankyou and you are right. |
