When the writers think it's alright to write victor off and feel that loyal 30 year viewers will contine to watch. I for one will not. That crazy story line with patty, ashley walking around with a dead baby for months, killing off colleen for no reason and lastly the ashley/sharon baby switch was already bad enough. Now this........... die y&r die. |

I think all the loyal fans of Y&R from years and years have seen this time and time again we love it and then we hate it and then we get over it and love it even more. Sorry you feel this way I think you will be missing out on great s/ls to come... |

i been watching since 1973 and i don't want young and restless to die i want it to go on but actors come and go and we move on and get over it,and they bring in new actors but the soaps will go on,there have been so many actors who came and went through the years ,and young and restless was there start and the fans have move on to along with the soap im not that upset over victor leaving, he goes he goes and he made that decision on his own on his choosing but the soap will be going on without him, |

Yes, the story will go on if they dismiss Victor but I for one will NOT go on with them. He is a talented, seasoned actor that makes the show, to me that is. So I guess this situation is like everything else in the world; A MATTER OF OPINION. |

So I guess this situation is like everything else in the world; A MATTER OF OPINION. YA'LL it was announced last SATURDAY that EB has come to an agreement with SONY and is staying. We do NOT know how long he will be gone from the screen, though. His last appearance is NOV 2nd(MON. U.S. show) and since taping is usually 3-4 weeks in advance people are thinking anywhere from 3-5 weeks! |

I have gotten so mad at some s/l's and really consider tuning out for good. (I did for a couple of years) but I came back and won't stop watching ever again. Just see how it all plays out it might surprise you!! |

Now this........... die y&r die. First, EB is back for another 3 years. Second, it wasn't the writers who were getting rid of Victor, it was Sony. They needed a way to write him out when EB said he was leaving. The fault lies not at the feet of the writers. My advice is, if you don't like it, turn to another station! |

I think all the loyal fans of Y&R from years and years have seen this time and time again we love it and then we hate it and then we get over it and love it even more. Sorry you feel this way I think you will be missing out on great s/ls to come... I totally agree with you. I have been watching for years and years and have seen many story lines that I did not like, especially if they were tearing apart one of my favorite characters, but you do get over it and move on. And, our soap has been, still is, and will be for a long time to come THE NUMBER ONE soap daytime soap opera!
