One less thing for Nick to worry about

It was what HE wanted to do and from the look of things, he is very happy with his wife and daughter. I agree 100% phyllis did not ask nick 2 come home he wanted 2 come home n his own. And went he ask phyllis 2 remarry him he said he was not doing it 4 summer but he was doing it 4 him cause he likes the man that he is when he is with her and he like who they r when they r 2gether. To me that do not sound like a man who is n love with another women only his wife Sharon told Nick to go to Summer and Phyllis because the baby she was carrying was not Nick's(Sharon lied for Summer)and it worked  I think that alot has been made about that, but basically Nick told Victoria that Sharon only helped him realize the truth. That he didn't see it at the time for himself and she helped him realize that he really shouldn't have left Phyllis to begin with. He knew then that he really loved Phyllis and that what happened to Summer only served to help him see his own truth. It wasn't about Sharon "telling" Nick, like he was a two year old what to do, but rather Nick realizing that he really wanted to be with his wife. Which was not what Sharon was telling Nick at all. What Sharon was telling Nick was that for this time, he needed to be with Summer. And that is where, I think, the confusion about what Sharon said to Nick comes in. Sharon didn't mean to send Nick back to Phyllis at all, but rather for the short time of Summer's illness, she wanted him to be free to spend his time with Summer. What I surmised from this was that Sharon didn't really realize that she helped Nick see the truth for himself, but rather she only wanted to let him be with Summer for the time being. It backfired, however, because Nick realized for himself that he wanted to be with Phyllis. That was all Nick's decision on his own. I believe that if all that he had done to be with Sharon was really what he wanted, whether or not he knew he was the father of Sharon's baby or not, he would have chosen Sharon anyway and nothing would have stopped him. If she is what he really wanted, he would have never chosen to reunite with Phyllis. Phyllis certainly wasn't looking for him to come home. He is the one who really wanted this and I don't believe that Sharon could have stopped him, even if she had told him the truth. What Sharon did, in my opinion was stupid, not at all self sacrificing, because she didn't mean for him to completely go back to Phyllis at all. |

If Jack and Billy team up on this new issue of Restless Style and really do a hatchet job on Victor, Nick and Phyllis will take the hit! Even though they sold the magazine in good faith to Billy and both of them were hesitant, Phyllis will probably get the brunt of it from Victor. But considering what Victor did to Summer, I don't think that Phyllis will care much, nor will Nick. They may be furious themselves for being set up, however. It is for sure that Newman is going to be under siege and I think that it was the right thing to do for Newman and for Nick and for Nick and Phyllis. Between Nick and Phyllis and Michael, they are going to need to form a dynamite team to beat what is getting ready to happen at Newman. If Victoria goes with JT or leaves because of JT, it will be left up to Nick and Phyllis and Michael to fight for the survival of the company. I have a feeling that before this is all over, they will even need Adam! (Ugh!) With Jack and Billy going after Victor and Victor leaving there will be other factions that will come into play for Newman. More powerful, perhaps than Newman and it will take alot to keep the Newman power house from crumbling. If this storyline is done right by the writers for once, this could be one of the best storylines this show has had in a very long time! |

Billy has asked Nick/ Phyllis to keep the sale quiet for now. Why? Billy loves to be the centre of attention. I wonder how many people will think THEY are the ones exposing Victor because of what happened to Summer.

Guilty about Summer? Why would Nick feel guilty? He had nothing to do with Summer getting hurt and even when he left Phyllis he came to see his daughter every day. Nick also left Noah when he married Phyllis, same thing. Nick feels tremedous guilt about Cassie because Sharon had grounded Cassie. Nick talked Sharon into letting Cassie go out and the poor girl ended up dead. If Cassie had stayed home that night, she would still be alive. That is the guilt Nick feels about Cassie. |

After all these years it is silly that we are still debating this fact. If he didn't love her he would have left her for good long ago. I stick to the story that is playing out on my screen, whether I like it or not. Also, what happened to Nick's grief about baby Faith? He looks pretty happy to me. |

NICK & PHYLLIS sold the magazine back to an ABBOTT. An ABOTT was also an original owner/partner. An ABBOTT who behind the backs of both PHYLLIS & NICK did a scathing expose on SABRINA. Then what did PHYLLIS do? A scathing commentary on both ole smilin JACK & SHARON. And NICK & PHYLLIS sold the magazine in "good" faith? In "good" faith to an ABBOTT? You got to be kidding me? To an ABBOTT? So far expose and commentary are all evened up but that is about to change. PHYLLIS was bored at the magazine, check. BILLY wanted to buy the magazine, check. PHYLLIS & NICK, decided to sell the magazine, check. BILLY tried to obtain financing and did, check. DEAL done, fait a complete, check. SCATHING EXPOSE to follow. NICK & PHYLLIS you made your bed and now you have to sleep in it. Were NICK & PHYLLIS dupped or were they just naive? NICK you will need help at NEWMAN ENTERPRISE because VICK will be off with JT(while the actress has her baby)so you better make sure that PHYLLIS is watching ole ADAM while you are taking care of business. ADAM is shrewd and he will create problems that "only" he can fix so he can ride in like a hero on a white horse(he shares this trait with TGVN)and save the day. I can also see ADAM bringing in as an assistant or intern SHARON to cause conflict/sexual tension in the work place. Ole smilin JACK is "out" of the quad and TPTB have just or are trying to insert ADAM for conflict. Will the new "stronger" SHARON be again manipulated by outside forces? Will SHARON finally get her baby back and will ADAM be the one to place little FAITH in her arms? Can ADAM be redeemed thru both being the hero at NEWMAN & saving it from a hostile takeover by the "new" billionaire TUCKER and by placing little FAITH back in her mother's arms where she belongs? Of course, while he does this he will somehow come out smelling like the sweetest rose you have ever smelt. Will he be able to blame DR. TAYLOR or better yet will he somehow be able to "stick" it to the ABBOTTS and put all the blame on ASHLEY as she is driven further into madness by the DEVIL himself????????????????????????????????????????????????? |

He lied to her, cheated on her repeatedly,feels responsible for the death of her daughter (Cassie), and when he had a chance to give her another daughter (Faith) he thinks that baby died too,causing Sharon even more pain! Adam will use Sharon as a tool to irk Nick, so yet again, even if Adam develops feelings for Sharon later, Nick will cause her to be hurt and betrayed yet again. I am not a PHICK fan who thinks Nick is God's gift to Phyllis. I don't. MS could make an empty envelope look interesting. But again, I stick to the story that is playing out on my screen. |

And, everyone has a different opinion as to Nick's reasons for being with Phyllis - - if it is not love, his character is sure a good actor!!!

BOTH PHYLLIS & SHARON are not in the title of most threads but are still brought into the conversation. LOL! JACK & ADAM aren't in the title of the thread either but we were talking about them. I was giving my speculation as to what I thought would happen which is what many of us are doing when we post or we give our opinion. |
