Sharon's admissions to Adam have been explored and A) Sharon isn't aware of ALL of Adam's evil doings; B) She let slip a bit too much - Adam was not aware of it being Nick who turned his father in; C) She was trying to be sensitive to Adam's situation and help him. But from the expression on her face she realized she let out too much. Done |

Nothing that Adam says matters unless he says, "Sharon your baby is alive and here she is" How Adam is able to listen to Sharon talk about losing 3 children and say nothing is beyond me. I guess a man that would do all that Adam has done clearly has no remorse. I see him as beyond redemption because he knows what he is doing but continues with his plan. That little talk he had with Faith about making things right and her "new" mommy was just sick. |

I agree with you...I feel Adam has turned into a very unredeemable, horrible character...he's the one that needs a "heart"...since he has NONE right now... |

Quote Memory24: Sharon's father is dead. He could be after all these years. Her father was originally written as having abandoned her and her mother..name unknown. This was the basis of Victor always being sensitive toward her and a father figure having experienced abandonment himself. Could be the reason for her insecurities but we shall see...hopefully. |

She told Victor actually right before he was being arrested for Commercial Bribery. That if she had a chance she would have connected with her Father before he died. |

I also think she has had enough therapy to be able to talk to her therapist about that, especially because she did mention it to Victor. I See her issues as haven been the fact of so much lost in her young life being that of her children. She told Jack she has had so much therapy and been invovled in so many groups while there, also is continuing her therapy too. Sharon is going to keep getting better, but not because of talking to Adam. One can already see how well she is doing and it isn't because of Adam. But then maybe she can help him to get a little better by talking to him. |

No where else was her fathers death ever mentioned....could have been Sharon's way with dealing with the abandonment....not bashing her..just explaining how she sugar coats everything to make it acceptable. Just a theory. |

But she did tell Victor he was dead and that wished she could have had relationship with him while he was still alive. I don't think Sharon would make up a death in order to cope with her feelings. |

You could be right...but it is very common for children - even grown adults who were abandoned by a father as a child/teen to say he is dead...it is less painful. It is harder to cope with being abandoned than to not have a father because he died. She may have buried him and her feelings in her mind. It would explain alot...afterall she has been in denial about herself for too long. Her mother, Jack, Victor..even her shrink tried to have her face her issues. Looks like she has heard the message while in the "ward" and in group therapy...and maybe Adam is the safe place to open up. JMO |

That could be a great storyline. Maybe he could be dying from something and need a transplant and only Sharon can give him that. He probably started another family and lived peacefully until he got sick. Then Sharon has to face the dilemma of helping a father who abandoned her. In the scene with Victor she is pretty vague about her Father just saying he was never there. (past tense) Wishing she had someone there for her. |
