Ashley should know that she did not deliver a baby. I know that it is a soap but..... women know when they've delivered. Some have stitches but we all have after birth female drama. I hope she dont try to breast feed (no wait) she shouldn't be able to. |

And after birth of a baby the body goes through certain things and for a while all that you want to do is lay down. And breast feeding is very painful at first. |

This whole Ashlee S/L is so unreal it's pathetic... baby swapping etc.. is so ridiculous ,i'm just about to thrown in the towel on this one... how is it that Adam is right there with Ashley 24/7 and he can call his dr friend and he can be there in 5 minutes from anywhere in the da^ country he might be.. the writers are sure tasteless on this one thats for sure i can't believe they xspect us to even want to watch this shi$ |

This has really upset me too. Why did she start having labor pains and then quit after her so-called delivery. Were her panties even removed, no bleeding, no stitches? How is all this going to be explained? |

Maybe Ashley is still so far into her mistaken belief that she delivered that it hasn't even occured to her that she's not passing any blood; that her breasts are not becoming engourged. Not every delivery calls for an episiotomy, so not everyone would need stiches in her perineum. There are regular blood tests run on the Mother and the infants, though, but they are probably regulated by each state. I would think the baby's blood would be typed, at least, for her records, though. |

:0 i have to totally agree with everyone on this subject. this story line is so far featched thats it's funny in away. even thoug all 3 of my children were via c-section i have 5 other sisters who had normal births and they were no where near as active as ashley is. come on writers, you are forgetting women when they have babies BLEED, no mater what, and this baby switch has made me so sick that it really upset me, i've been a faithful veiwer for over 20 years and seen alot of different s/l's on here but this takes the cake, give sharron and nick back their little girl and snap ashley back into reality before you loose another faithful veiwer |

Also did anyone notice that when Dr. Taylor was called to assist with a pregnant woman he took his medical bag and left Ashley's room. Later Adam is shown in Ashley's room going into a medical bag? how's that |

There was a CSI episode awhile ago that had a girl that was having a hysterical pregnancy (not truly pregnant, all in her head) and she did actually produce breast milk. So MAYBE Ashley is experiencing bleeding and milk coming in, also given she was having labor pains. Even still, some quick explanation from Dr. Taylor to Adam would have been easy to do. And whether Ashley is going thru these things or not, either way the woman has completely lost it. Either she's having a full blown hysterical pregnancy, labor, after labor stuff and needs major help mentally, or she's not experiencing the typical symptoms after having a baby and is too nuts to question it. How sad that she is now taking care of this little baby. This s/l is a nightmare, not a soap. |
