I agree with the other long time viewers about the scenario where Sharon, Ashley, Adam & Dr. T play. Give the baby back for goodness sakes.... I will no longer watch until the writers can find some way to get Adam off the show, Sharon gets her baby back, and Abby is OFF the show. What an airhead....

I won't watch as long as Ashley has Sharons baby and as long as Adam is on the show..

I really don't understand why people are so outraged by this baby switch storyline it isn't the first babyswitch that has ever happened and it wasn't even that shocking for the most part everybody knew months ago that was the direction the writers were going. I am looking forward to seeing a very entertaining unfolding of the story to resolve the switch. Hopefully the writers can deliver some emmy-worthy writing as they untangle the mess of Adam. Who knows maybe in the end Adam will even get some redemption.

Sharon will get her baby back .Why do you think they named her Faith? Sharon prouble like playing this part.Give it a brake & wait.

I think alot of good things come from the sadder s/ls ...like the baby switch. Maybe in the end, Sharon and Nick will reunite because this "loss" makes them realize they can't live apart...so, in the end, they'll be reunited AND have baby Faith back.

You just have to ride the wave.

I'm a huge Sharon fan, but I think what shocks me the most is how many other Sharon fans there are out there now that I see all of the outrage. I knew there were alot of us out there, but I've never seen this kind of support for her character until now. Personally, it doesn't bother me at all, I'm glad to see her so enjoyed

The original post also mensioned something about wanting Abby gone. You know I didn't like her before this tragedy but now that I've got to see her play a grieving sister and daughter, she's done very well!! I have really believed her performances and much perfer them over the spoiled Abby we had before this.

I'm not necessarily a Sharon fan, but I'm not a Sharon hater, either. My reasons for outrage are not just this s/l. This s/l is the straw that broke the camel's back for me. The entire show has been horrible for a year. I don't want all sweetness and light, but I don't want all darkness, either. There should be a balance as there always was in the past. I can rent a B-rated horror movie and that is all Y&R has been lately. The s/l's are dreamed up and then they make the characters fit into the s/l. In the past, s/l's were driven by the characters and so were consistent with the characters' personality. The show is barely recognizable anymore.

Try thinking about the past year: Sabrina and baby died; Brad died; the entire MJ/Patti s/l with killing pets, injuring children, and more people dying or requiring heart transplant; three people in psych wards; Lily with a hysterectomy and cancer; the Silver Chipmunk; blackmail and paternity issues everywhere; nephew sleeping with aunt; etc. Too much more to even name. It makes my head hurt and is too depressing. I'm hard pressed to come up with very many bright moments to offset the Hitchcock feel. The big picture is out of focus as was pointed out in Candace's rant.
