EB not hurting

I EB indeed leaves Y&R I do not think he will be hurting. He was in TV long before Y&R and doing small rolls in the movies. If he has a good agent, which I think he does, he will not have a hard time finding work. I also believe he has mamaged his monies very well. I also believe, it is time for Y&R to go. The S/L are extremelly bad and smelly. If the writers cannot do any better than this, the show needs to go. As stated awhile back, I am gone, this story has lost it luster. |

Hi...I agree if EB leaves Y & R, he will not be hurting. He was a success before the show, and he will be after. But, the show will suffer, the luster will be gone, and ratings will drop. Y & R will be on it's way to being another soap that bites the dust. JMHO. |

Who cares that he will not be hurting, that's not the issue. IMHO, the issue is that he is being treated very poorly and without respect (along with other veterans). These actors have been on the show for decades and have made the show #1 for how many weeks/years. Please, Bill Bell must be rolling over in his grave to know that his Y&R is being written like a supermarket tabloid and his actors are being treated like they don't mean anything. |

The vets are the heartbeat of the show and they deserve respect which they've earned down thru the years. The soap would not have lasted all these years and stayed at the top without them.

Eric B is not going. I don't know where this rumor started. I havent watched since they killed Zapapto. But I read the daily update and do watch when some of the orginal cast is on...FF through the rest of the total garabage. I found I have five hours a week back in my life after over 35 years! OMG when I read about the baby switch...which has been done to death on Soaps...I thought ahhhh leave it to these new writers to make it even SICKER! |

the veteran actors have all been carrying this show, the writing is so poor, it wouldn't even be on anymore if it weren't for them, if EB goes, i will not even read the updates |

The show asked the veteran actors to start taking paycut after paycut(which they did)and most held out and kept hoping the writers would write better s/l's(which they didn't)until it was TOO late. If we see Y&R using the same experimental camera techniques and mostly outdoor scenes then LOOK OUT they are in trouble. GL broke up major couples and had JOSH marry REVA's SISTER(even made the actresses MAD), veteran characters kidnapping children,(Holly & PHILLIP) killing off favorite characters(GUS), a heart transplant s/l also. That's just a few of the things that happened. When the JOSH/CASSIE s/l happened fans left in droves and then GRANT ALESANDER was fired and many more left and it went downhill from there. Please writers give us a more balanced Y&R like back in the DAY..................................................... |
