Y & R jumped the shark when Victor and Ashley believed Adam's lie that the prisoners stabbed his eyes with hypo needles. I stopped watching nearly a week, but was sucked into watching again. However, the "baby switch" story was the last straw. I haven't watched Y & R since Monday. I won't watch again, until they improve this soap. I urge fans to boycott Y & R starting today. Contact CBS and voice your complaints. Encourage family and friends to boycott and complain to CBS. Write letters, send emails, make phone calls. (In the past I wrote letters. More recently, I emailed and filled out the Feedback form on the CBS website.) If enough people get involved, and ratings fall, they will notice. Hopefully, changes will be made. Right now, Y & R is the worst soap on tv. We deserve the best. Let them know, we're as mad as h*ll, and we're not gonna take it anymore!!

Actually no, it might be a guilty pleasure for some, but some will seriously turn off their TV because they're honestly disgusted by the current storylines.

I have barely watched since the Colleen drowning storyline and I won't bother now. I am going to concentrate on GH and my HBO shows.

Stealing sharon's baby was a dumb move on the writers side becos even though this is only a soap,it should be a little realistic. we the viewers are not stupid...there is still plenty of time to undo the damage.

Wholeheartedly, sorry Colleen, AGREE!! Boycott the show and better yet--boycott the sponsors. I knew what was coming and have not watched today's show and do not intend to. I'll check back in with it in about a month. No wait, their story lines go on forever, so I guess I better wait a year.

and miss all the good stuff on the soap that's coming up you are taking it to seriously its call entertainment not real life im its just a soaps im am looking forwarded to see what happen next besides i was bore enough with the sports that they had on. im happy now to be watching my soaps.what going on really doesn't bother me they did worse thing than that i gather you missed it didn't you sees it when Lauren was bury alive or when victor had his first wife Julia lock in a cage in his basement or when brad loony wife had kidnap him and shes was holding him in a cage in hers bedroom and there was a baby market when Nina baby was sold i guess you didn't remember that so this is no more different, than what there doing now.

I have reached the point where I no longer desire to watch Y & R. I do still come on here ocassionally and read the updates, spoilers and boards, but when they broke up Nick and Sharon again a couple of months ago I pretty much quit.

We used to have classy writers at Y & R, but those days are gone. CBS, has invested in a much lower class of writer and it shows.

I tune in to Y&R EVERYDAY and enjoy, at least, some aspects of every show. Y&R is the best soap on IMHO and I'm always going to watch.

Sure, some won't but I will. Overall, I think everyone involved with putting on Y&R does a really great job. So much content to push out 5 days a week every week! Most of the actors are very talented...some not as much but learning.

To those not enjoying Y&R right now, I hope you stay tuned and enjoy it again really soon

I agree with all of u! I stopped watching after patty almost killed summer when she gave her cookies that she knew that she was allergic to them, that is really sick! Then she killed victors dog when she poisoned it. and now i hear that they r killing off colleen. now a baby switch, i know i wont be watching until they improve this show. When they start killing animals or hurting Children that is not entertainment that is sick and very disturbing. soaps is suppose to be about romance.

OKAY! Spoilers and posting is about all I can stand of sadness these past few weeks.

I watch because I like the GREAT ACTORS; too bad of recent they have gotten lousy/sick parts.

WHEN ARE THESE WRITERS EVER GOING TO LISTEN TO THE VIEWERS AND BLOGGERS??
