I do not understand, if she really is not preg. Why does she have such a big baby bump. maybe she had twins and only lost one baby. just a thought

I tell ya what PJ, if/when she takes Sharon Baby home and a few days later she goes into real Labor in front of her Family members, that will be something because Now Ash have to ask who baby she's got, Plus Sharon Baby is a Preemie this could cause complications also bring forth Faith's True Identity (But your Theory and Mine is too Realistic). So I doubt if it happens this way.

This story line is beyond ridiculous and incredibly cruel. Both Ashley and Sharon need something GOOD to happen to them. And don't you think Ashley could tell if she had just given birth? The only way I will go back to watching is if they have Ashley suspect she did not give birth and figure out the truth -- and I mean soon. Otherwise, I can't watch this sad and very unbelievable story. Writers, please stop this madness soon!

I agree, the baby switch is just too cruel, I've been watching Young and the restless for 25 years, and I dont't want to watch anymore, if Adam gets away with this, I feel like a fool to keep watching. The writers have to do better than this.

While sitting here listening to the show from today 9/29...it dawned on me that there is a chance of a "baby switch" and now that I have opened up the message board and see others seeing it the same way and worried that the writers could be so cruel....how do they think that this will help their ratings...it is making me sick to think about it. Just give Victor Colleen's heart and maybe he will turn into a better person..... please writers, do not switch the babies... Sharon and Nick belong together as do Jack and Phyllis, since she has his daughter and not Nick's... Adam needs to be shot!

I agree…there is too much ‘gloom and doom’. Let’s see…Brad and Colleen are dead; Patty, Sharon, and Ashley are in psych wards; Ashley thinks she’s been pregnant for months and isn’t; Lily is fighting cancer; Victor is fighting for his life; Summer’s development has been damaged; Paul is crushed; Amber, Daniel, and Dr. Taylor are being blackmailed; and now this stealing a baby from Sharon thing. It has gone way too far now. It is to the point of insulting our intelligence.

There used to be funny and happy moments to offset the drama. Glo’s and Jeff’s antics are simply stupid, not funny. I don’t know what the writers are thinking, but I’m not on the same page. This was my escape from the ‘gloom and doom’ we face every day in life. Now, instead of escaping gloom, it does nothing but add to it. The show has become too dark and depressing for me. Guess I’ll have to move on. I’ll do it sadly because I’ve watched from day 1 when the show revolved around the Brooks and the Fosters…before the Newmans came to town (yes, I remember Victor and Julia’s arrival) and before Nikki, Casey, or the Williams and Abbott families were involved. I'll be sad to let it go, but not as sad as if I have to watch this baby go to Ashley and Nick & Phyllis stay together.

After watching for many years, faithfully tivoing every episode, I have watched my final episode. The storylines on this show have grown increasingly NUTS over the last year or so, but this baby switch story has pushed me over the edge. I am not sure what writer could have thought this was a good idea. Oh well, it's done and I am done watching.

I think the writers think the viewers are stuck on stupid. The same looney bin , contractions at the same time , and what will they tell Sharon, OBTW your baby was to premature and didn't make it, it slipped out of my hands and was cremated . This story will end up like the Guiding Light if they keep turning viewers off. Can't watch no more!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quote angiemae:
Quote Obsessed with soaps: Both Sharon and Ashley are too emotionaly weak to endure the long drawn out suffering involved in theis s/l. What are the writers trying to do, put off a lot of viewers? I just dont think I can watch either one of these women suffer anymore than they have already..... Both are really nice women, who don't deserve to have this Freak play with their lives to such a horrible extent!! What more is Adam gonna get away with??? This makes no sense !! Enough already, Stop this Fool This is worse than the Fab4, Glo and Jeff stupid stuff , and all the laws they break.... Just venting here>>> Hating this S/l....

I agree!! I do NOT like this storyline at ALLL!!! It just so wrong!! Enough already!

Totally agree, this is way to cruel. Have the writers lost their minds. This is gone on way too long. Adam needs to be caught. This storyline is totally turning me off for a while now. If the writers want to keep loyal Y&R fanatics like me, they need to rethink letting to go much longer.

I am upset about this s/l as well It is cruel and doesn't need to happen. It is twisted-poor-don't-give a care writing.>( Ash did not take that great of care ot herself; stressing-moody. Where Sharon took great care of herself. I read in "Soap Central"

"Ashley checks herself into the psych hospital

As Ashley begins her stay, Sharon goes into labor

Dr. Taylor reassures Ashley that her baby is fine

Adam comforts his anxious stepmother

When Sharon's water breaks, she asks to go to the hospital, but the facility goes into lockdown

Adam has pulled the fire alarm, tricking everyone into thinking another prisoner has escaped

Adam instructs Dr. Taylor to attend to Sharon

While alarms ring, Ashley tells Adam that baby Hope is coming - and asks him to help her deliver!

Adam uses drugs in Dr. Taylor's kit to knock Ashley out

Faith is safely delivered, but Sharon is unconscious

Ashley wakes up and demands to see her child

Adam tells her the baby is with the staff, but Ashley begins to believe there is no baby

Thinking fast, Adam brings Sharon's baby to Ashley, who is overjoyed to meet her daughter

Abby meets baby Hope

Sharon is evacuated to Genoa City Memorial

Sharon is grief stricken when she learns that Faith was born dead

Nick is devastated when Sharon tells him what happened to their daughter

Dr. Taylor discourages them from seeing Faith because she had profound birth defects

Nick and Sharon agree to an immediate cremation"
"From the spoiler at Soap Central" I will not watch Y&R ever after watching it for 25 years and have to watch this cruel unjust writing is a crime...
