The Young and the Restless - MESSAGE BOARDS

Once upon a time there lived a wealthy family in the publishing business - The Brooks. A blue collar family, The Fosters, was interwoven into the lives of the Brooks and The Young & the Restless was created.
Eventually both the Brooks and Foster families dissolved into oblivion and the Abbotts, and Chancellors became the two heirarchial familes in GC. Only Jill remained of the Fosters. Victor arrived and the Newman Dynasty grew and grew!

So here we are..the Abbotts, Chancellors and Newmans. Until PC IIIs recent return the Chancellor Family consisted of Brock and his daughter Mac since Jill remains an orphan whose roots still haven't been unearthed.
The Chancellor Dynasty is back and growing again!

TGVN and The Newmans. There TGVN is ith (2) of his heirs Nick and Victoria and 3 grandchildren Noah, Summer and Reed) and a 4th on its way that hasn't been identified as a Newman as yet. Nor has Summer been disqualified as a Newman yet. Another son, Adam through Hope and a daughter Abby through Ashley. ANother child Ash just miscarried unbeknown to anyone but Adam and Dr. Taylor.
The Newman Dynasty is growing. TGVN is its Patriarch

But what about the Abbott family? John is dead, Tracey has left GC and Ashley (who is not by blood an Abbott) is living with TGVN and has just miscarried their baby. Although she is not by blood an Abbott it is a secret few know about and her father John was never told.
* If she accepts Victor's Proposal and marry
Ashley will be a Newman. That diminishes the
Abbotts...takes an Abbott and moves it to the
Newman side of the board.
If Ashley is the Newman who dies the Abbott
Family will consist of Billy, Dehlia, Jack and
Colleen (Tracey being her mother). baby Faith is
temporarily Jack's and Tracey is not in GC much.
The Abbott Dynasty is shrinking It has no Patriarch or Matriarch.

When and if Baby Faith is proven to be Nick's
another Abbott, #2, moves over to the Newman
side of the chessboard..and is now diminished
by two and Newman increased by two Abbotts.

Then there is Jack Abbott. Suppose he was not John
Abbott's son and a child his mother Dina had by another man as she did Ashley? Maybe it was PC II and Jack is a
Chancellor? Imagine that? And Billy is Jacks son (another rewrite) and WHY Mac and Billy never are unable to consumate their love for one another always getting interrupted by some DNA test for someone.
Poof..no more Abbotts but Tracey and Colleen who we never see anyway and even together this mother and daughter hardly constitute a dynasty.

Now there is a scenario that will have Jack, PC III & IV, Ashley if still alive and married to TGVN, Jill, Billy, Chloe and Katherine in a whole lotta entanglements not to mention Nina...and Neil hold onto your CEO seat cause if this dream sequence I am having is true you better stick to it like glue!!!!

Lastly..when Katherine finds her daughter...and Jill finds her parents....and maybe Jack, Billy and Nick take a DNA test the dynamics of the Abbotts, Chancellors and Newmans will change.....somehow the Abbott family structure will be permanently entwined with another family and Billy and Mac will be related...but not through Jill!

Those are very good points. I guess only time will tell.

Ashley and Victor got married. Ashley moves from the Abbott side of the chess board over to the Newman side. And so it begins.................

OMG, exactly how long have you been watching this soap? I've been watching maybe a year now, and have a few questions -
- tell me, do you know who Ashley's father is?
- is Nick not Summer's father - did Phylis switch the results?
- who is going to die?
- and why does everyone love Sharon and hate Phyllis?

I wish we could get the Brooks sisters back, Lori, Leslie and Chris were fun. Lori could go up against Big Red and Leslie could take on Jill.

You're probably right they might be just about Jills age or maybe just a little older and Jill still has a lot of fire so they probably would too.
