History again...so why doesn't Nina pursue the whereabouts of her firstborn 2? May contain spoiler talk...

I hope that Nina will try to pursue her first born. That would be a very good and interesting story line. She sure did a good job finding out the truth about Cane and she did it. She was persistant and her willingness to find out the truth became a reality. I like Nina and her drive and her tenacity to win out at all costs. This would be a great story and she did try but maybe she might try again. She is portrayer as a strong character and I admire that.

She tried and tried - had help trying...to no avail. Can't say she didn't try. OREO, is completly RIGHT. Nina has ALWAYS been the "catalyst" to this whole s/l. Was the story of the HUNINGTON'S DISEASE plot point contrived? Yeah, especially when all the big bad brave Marine Special Forces soldier had to do was get TESTED for the "gene" but that was the MOTIVATION given for her character and boy did she ever run with it. Nina has ALWAYS been tenacious and she is to JILL as JILL is to KATHERINE if ya'll catch my drift. If some of you newer viewers could go to youtube and just check out the fights that these three ladies used to have. WHEWwwwwwwwwwww. We did get a little spumor/rumor about a "new" character coming to GC(as yet he is nameless & it is still NOT confirmed)but I'm hoping HE IS NINA'S lost son. If the spumor/rumor is correct I'm thinking it's him because the actor is 25 years old and NINA's son would be 22 going on 23. And I still think NINA will eventually help Cane once she talks to PC3 and realizes the whole truth.


I dobted Nina from the beginning about her son's story of Huntington's disease. I think it was a tactic to get to the truth.

Nina was in town for several weeks before she tells anyone her son may have Huntington's disease (HD).

The biggest reason why I doubted her was because she said PC 4's military doctors thought he may have HD because of his symtptoms. If the symptoms were that noticeable or he told them about it, they would most likely require him to take the blood test for HD before sending him off to war.

HD in younger adults progresses faster and more severe than in older adults. He could take medications to help with the symptoms but there's many meds the military would require them to go on light duty, like a desk job rather than go to war.

The symptoms of uncontrolled movements, emotional disturbances and mental deterioration, would send a huge red flag and they probably wouldn't allow him to go to war. The early signs of HD - anger, irritability, decreased cognitive abilities and remembering information; would put his fellow soldiers in a more precarious situation.

So, I think NIna definitely made up the story to get to the truth.


Would a Hollyweird (as Jill calls it) writer concoct a story like HD ...yes. Nina make it up saying her son might have it....I won't say never..but I don't think so.

Also he has been in Iraq and is coming home from his tour of duty. When Nina arrived he would have already been in Iraq and therefore in a war zone. If he showed symptoms while there, he would probably been given a light duty detail in the rear. Maybe that is what happened.

Thats a very good point Oreo. I think Jill will eventually want to reconnect with Katherine but my question is will Katherine want to reconnect with Jill.

Jill has done everything she can to disconnect with Katherine and the other day she went over the line with that temper tantrum when Katherine was ill. I think Jill has alienated Katherine to the point it is not going to be easy for Jill when she does understand she loves Katherine still.

I hope they do reconcile because it would be a shame for the progress they had made over the years wasted.

If Nina had ulterior motives, and is using Huntington's Disease as an excuse, to do what......? She's had years and years between the time she left for Calif. and now to do her 'investigating'. I don't get what her motivation would be to pursue any other scenario.

I just want to clarify my statement about the HD s/l being contrived. I do NOT mean to suggest that I think she made it up because I don't(although anything is possible)but I think TPTB used a CONTRIVED reason for NINA to be the catalyst and to seek out the truth. I like Nina, and I do like Cane & Lily and think they will get back together but it will be a journey. I don't know if I like ole PHILLIP anymore, I used to but will wait for his story. I will reserve making a statement about "CHANCE" the soldier because we haven't met him yet. To me this was and is the best s/l going even with their contrived plot points and issues left dangling. Hands down the best and GREAT ACTING from the principals especially TRICIA CAST, DANIEL GODDARD, and JESS WALTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Prior to Katherine believing she switched Jill's baby and the exhumation proved the person buried wasn't Jill's son, Nina didn't have a reason to investigate.

In my opinion NIna decided to find the truth after she met Cane at Katherine/Marge's funeral and then at Lily's wedding. Something didn't seem right to her.

Then after she heard more details of how Cane came into their lives based on "a psychic, the internet and Katherine's dreams", something seemed very fishy.

Perhaps Nina really believed the real Phillip Chancellor III was buried or she wanted more information about who the person could be and if it was the father of her son. Jill didn't want another exhumation so she came up with the Huntington's Disease excuse.

I too conclude that Nina is a stickler for details and always wants to be able to put all of the pieces of a puzzle together. While I admire this quality, I really don't like her attitude though. IMO, she comes across as being rude. I'm still rying to figure out if this is her true and only angle. True, she may be exacting and strongly detail-oriented but she also might feel that she has something to gain on the inheritance level. She wouldn't be a direct inheritant but her son Phillip IV would. Sometimes people do unbelievable things when they think they might get even ten cents over a bowl of chili but the Chancellor inheritance is truly big time!
Like Oreo123 posted — I also agree that because of her dogged and fierce determination, Nina will be in for even more shocking news. It's not that I'm speculating on anything specific but I think she will suffer additional heartache.

Neither did she have reason to investigate until she received the recent news that her son may have the Huntington's gene. I'm not saying she may not have another reason to find out what's going on, but so far, the Huntington's is the only scenario the writers have given us.

Of course, NINA will suffer additional heartaches. This character has NO luck in the love department. First husband faked his death. We don't know why yet but there is speculation(I have said from the beginning he is gay). SECOND husband tried to con her out of her son's trust fund/inheritance, never loved her, he is dead. Third husband she tried to buy his love, he had an affair, they divorced, and he was shot trying to re-marry his first wife. Nina has her own money, she is a very successful author and screenwriter. PC4 has had money in trust for years and KATHERINE has said it will not be taken away. Katherine is in charge of the CHANCELLOR trusts, no one else. Here's a question for Daisy Jane. When PC3 supposedly died CHANCELLOR INDUSTRIES reverted back to her. What will happen now? Will TPTB remember this and a FIGHT will ensue between Katherine & Jill over CI? I could see this happening with Jill convincing PC3 that she should have it and NOT Katherine because it is his BIRTHRIGHT and Katherine tried to take that away from him once already and don't let her do it again..............................

John Driscoll (ex Coop, GL) has been hired to play the part of Phillip the 4th! He's one of those young men with that baby face look! He fit right in!

Touched, I have know as many others have about JOHN DRISCOLL(and remember him as COOP) and he is not who I am referring to. The story about Coop came out quite a long time ago and then sort of went on hold and now he will FINALLY come to town I believe on the 16th and I'm looking forward to it. No, this character I'm talking about was not given any detail except the actor's name, I wish I'd written it down but I didn't. Anyway thanks for the reminder to everyone about PC4 or "CHANCE" as he will be called. As far as PC3 and Cane being the same age PC3 has finally been SORA'd but for some reason CANE has NOT. Cane is still listed as having a birth year as 1975, although TPTB have given him 2 different birthdates as they did PC3. Please check out Daisy Jane's post on the thread the ages of thes or something similiar and you will see. But thanks again for the GREAT SPOILERS..................................


The only other new character I am aware of is the one playing PC3, Thom Bierdz, who is to debut soon! His character debut in 1976. So Cane's birthdate is 1975, which makes him 12 years older than Lily!

John Driscoll is coming on the 16th! There is Sean Kanan but Deacon is supposed to be much older! He was about 36 when he married a 17 year old Bridget! He's been gone from B&B for about four years, he be 40! Not Nina's son!

Yes, another Kay & Jill battle! It looks like TPTB might be heading that way. Prior to last week, Katherine was ready to take Jill back but Jill wasn't ready.

Now, after the mini-stroke, Katherine is back to being negative towards Jill. It looks like Kay is the one pushing Jill away.

I started working on another post specualating on the trouble Cane and PC 3 could be in regarding Chancellor Industries and Jabot if TPTB go that route. This could come into play if Jill and Kay fight over who gets control of CI.

She tried and tried - had help trying...to no avail. Can't say she didn't try. The urgency now was for a different reason and her instincts urged her to disprove Cane as being the "switched baby" and Chancellor heir. Say what you will...she was right! She was annoyingly antaganistic when confronting Cane...but it worked and the truth came out. Had to and was the right thing to do no matter who was hurt. She is also hurt finding an empty grave and will be hurt even more ............

OREO, is completly RIGHT. Nina has ALWAYS been the "catalyst" to this whole s/l. Was the story of the HUNINGTON'S DISEASE plot point contrived? Yeah, especially when all the big bad brave Marine Special Forces soldier had to do was get TESTED for the "gene" but that was the MOTIVATION given for her character and boy did she ever run with it. Nina has ALWAYS been tenacious and she is to JILL as JILL is to KATHERINE if ya'll catch my drift. If some of you newer viewers could go to youtube and just check out the fights that these three ladies used to have. WHEWwwwwwwwwwww. We did get a little spumor/rumor about a "new" character coming to GC(as yet he is nameless & it is still NOT confirmed)but I'm hoping HE IS NINA'S lost son. If the spumor/rumor is correct I'm thinking it's him because the actor is 25 years old and NINA's son would be 22 going on 23. And I still think NINA will eventually help Cane once she talks to PC3 and realizes the whole truth.


John Driscoll (ex Coop, GL) has been hired to play the part of Phillip the 4th! He's one of those young men with that baby face look! He fit right in!

Touched, I have know as many others have about JOHN DRISCOLL(and remember him as COOP) and he is not who I am referring to. The story about Coop came out quite a long time ago and then sort of went on hold and now he will FINALLY come to town I believe on the 16th and I'm looking forward to it. No, this character I'm talking about was not given any detail except the actor's name, I wish I'd written it down but I didn't. Anyway thanks for the reminder to everyone about PC4 or "CHANCE" as he will be called. As far as PC3 and Cane being the same age PC3 has finally been SORA'd but for some reason CANE has NOT. Cane is still listed as having a birth year as 1975, although TPTB have given him 2 different birthdates as they did PC3. Please check out Daisy Jane's post on the thread the ages of thes or something similiar and you will see. But thanks again for the GREAT SPOILERS..................................


The only other new character I am aware of is the one playing PC3, Thom Bierdz, who is to debut soon! His character debut in 1976. So Cane's birthdate is 1975, which makes him 12 years older than Lily!

John Driscoll is coming on the 16th! There is Sean Kanan but Deacon is supposed to be much older! He was about 36 when he married a 17 year old Bridget! He's been gone from B&B for about four years, he be 40! Not Nina's son!

I know who THOM BIERDZ is as I have been watching Y&R since 1974(not the first year, but). I, like many loved to see the ORIGNAl actor who played PC3 it was quite an enjoyable shock and I saw him on the end of the U.S. episode on Friday. I knew DEACON was going to come and I know how old he is and remember when he was with both Bridget and Brooke. No, I only saw this rumor/spoiler once and like I said the actor(who I was unfamiliar with was 25 years old and his character was not named nor a character description given, so don't know. Yes, I remember when PC was born. Cane is 33 and will be 34 in December and Lily is 22 there is a considerable age difference, you are correct. PC3 has been SORA'd and Cane has not so there has to be a reason. Daisy Jane has a theory that he is really SNAPPER'S illegitimate son CHUCKIE who was born in 1975, we shall see. Ironic if it's true Jill loses one son only for him to later be revealed as her nephew.

I look forward to seeing Sean Kanan's Deacon interact with Amber again. Wonder if he will come between her and Daniel. For those who are GH fans, you can definitely tell Sean is related to Steve Burton (Jason).

WOW, get back HOT, I did NOT know that. I do not watch GH but do know who STEVE BURTON is what a nice looking mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. Now that you point it out, wow, just wow. Thanks for the info.
