So I think that answer the question on who the professional is. And Chloe now is doing the same thing he did to her! At least the only audience Chloe had when her dirty lie was being exposed was Cane and Lily. Cane has been humiliated by half the town and you can bet when the rest of GC hear about his lie they are going to be in CAne's face. I don't understand why some get off easy when they sin(Chloe and Billy) and others have to go through the fire! The writers of this show are bias ! |

Yes, Cane was all over Chloe and Amber about lying, but in some cases the reasons were the same but then there are big differences between how Cane has handled his lie and how chloe handled hers. Chlose has shown o remorse, guilt or shame for what she tried to do. Cane has. Chloe says she did what she did for a father for her child. Cane did what he did for a family. No difference there. Chloe hasn't changed, she is still up to her old tricks. Unlike Cane who is deeply sorry and he's humbled himself. He's taking his punishment but in the meantime, he's trying to explain why he did it. He's allowing everyone and their mother to verbally abuse and physically attack him and it's all because he's deeply ashamed of what he has done. In my book when a person has made a mistake and admits that they made a mistake and they are trying to make it right, I will forgive them because we all make mistakes and, if we're sincere in turning around, we all would like to be forgiven. That's all I'm saying. |

Ok I get what you are saying but Cane did everything humanly possible to not let the truth come out. He beg Jill nd Mrs. C to stop Nina, he took out his passport and thought about running away. He made an accident so he could switch the blood viles. So when all else fell, and his back was to the wall, then he told the. Truth. So in my book he was a con man and a coward at the end of the day. The only remorse I saw was the remorse of getting caught. So I will agree to disagree. |

The good citizens of GC are in no place to judge Cain, he just wanted someone to love him unconditionally and to have a mother's love as well as the love of a good woman. Wrong though he may be but isn't unconditional love something that we all want? |

"How do you know where I have been, unless you have walked in my shoes". We need to remember this when it comes to making judgement calls on other people's lives. I do not profess to know what Cane went through, but in my heart I can only imagine. There is more to this story than meets the eye. We are in for more surprises. According to what I have read there will be more twists and turns, and perhaps Cane will be redeemed. |

He said in his telephone message to Phillip that he took care of everything, and he can stop running. All of this was for PCIII, and it also helped serve his purpose of having a family. Yes, he lied but I think he is sincerely remorseful. |

Cain has a good heart and I sincerely believe that hands down he loves Lily with every fiber of his being and that once she sees that he does truly love her, she will be a better person for it after all there is no one in GC (including Lily) or any where else that can cast the first stone. |

He has always said he didnt want any of the money from the chancellors. Remember when Katherine offered him his job at Chancellor? He turned it down cause he said he wanted to earn it not have it given to him because he was Jills son. Hes not a bad guy. Yes he lied to everyone there but he wasnt acting alone. He did it for his friend. And its not like it was his idea! If he took money from them or assumed PC3's identity, then he'd be a bad guy, but he didnt because he's a great guy. Neil is a jerk who needs to get over himself. Wasnt he lieing to his new bride about his feelings for Tyra?! And I couldve slapped Chloe for trying to come down on Cane for not telling the truth about the baby. After all shes done! She had the nerve to talk to cane like he was scumb? No way! And Billy? Billy had no right to hit Cane! If Billy had stepped up and been a man and claimed his child in the first place, none of that Chloe/Cane/Lily/Billy crap wouldve ever taken place! Guys this is a mess and hopefully the writers will redeem our loveable Cane. He's a great character to have on the show and I cant stand seeing him ruined like this. I will always be a LANE fan!!! They can make it through this. Just get Neil out of the way. lol And on another note, I liked Devons scene with Cane on Friday. That is how a brother should act. And for that matter, that is how Neil shouldve acted. Not so over the top like he was.  Bravo, bravo (clapping hands, clapping hands). Excellent summation of events and ITA. Cane is not a bad person. Yes, he lied but who hasn't? I can name quite a number of GC residents who have lied and done worse. Thank you! |
