I guess they will explain that by saying Katherine's memory is unreliable because of her health problems. I particularly hate all of the rewriting of history. The way they write this show it makes me not trust anything the characters do or say because who knows tomorrow it may all change.

As far as the switch goes, I have ALWAYS belived that the baby's were switched but switched back because Katherine immediately felt remorse. Katherine remembered running across a field carrying a baby has always meant the estate to me. Another theory is because of her drunken stupor she saw it in a movie and remembered it years later. Still another theory proposed by OREO suggested that she confused the two babies(her daughter that she gave up)and Jill's son and thought there was a switch. One last theory that I've seen is that it was JUST a dream.(JMO)
