But Sharon doesn't think that Nick can be there for her baby and Summer. Or she doesn't want to deal with Phyllis.
And I do believe that since it is Sharon it is the guilt for not ruining their marriage. For even know that it is in cardiac arrest Sharon doesn't want to be held responsible.
For I think that a baby ends Shick life together so a baby will end Phick marriage. But that means that Nick wanted to get divorce or the DNA test will said that Summer is an Abott. He did take the results and left for no one else saw the test.
That is why people think that Summer is an Abott.

i don't understand what you said above all that but i think it's safe to say a baby isn't needed to "end phicks marriage", that sh!ts been dead for a while now. everytime sharons comes thisclose to nick, phick dies. i don't know if you watched the episode weeks ago but you missed out on nick basically telling phyllis she was a booty call after cassies death and he's out...he'll be heading "home" to "the love of his life" sharon, now. great epi, you should really check it out-especially all the brutally honest things nick says.

if you're talking about getting a divorce from sharon, you're dead wrong. he wanted to stay married to her and she kicked his red-rash infected ass out. nick loved cassie to death. he needed a daughter to fill her void. after finding out the paternity results, he told sharon he wasn't going anywhere, he wanted their marriage even if that meant not being apart of "his" illegitimate childs life. SHARON TOLD HIM TO HIT THE ROAD and take care of the baby so it had some sort of stability in its life...with phyllis as a mother it would've been impossible.
