G466, Wow I never thought about it but Cane did have Phillip's blood and could have handed over it to Nina at any time to test for Phillip 1V. Ofcourse that would have blown his cover but he had to know he would eventually be found out. I think people would have been more sympathic towards him even though he lied. I understand he was being loyal to Phillip but at that point his Loyalties should have been to Jill, Katherine, and Lilly. I think it will take alot of time if they do actually forgive him. i still say Nina is still going to want to kick his and Phillip rear!

I wish there would be one family or at least a couple who could provide a moral compass for this town. They all are so screwed up. Don't get me wrong I realize it is a soap and human faults (and most of them are HUGE) are every day things, but it would be nice to see maybe two characters that can hold it together longer than two episodes. I love the Gloria/Bardwell combo because they embody so many horrible traits and they are comic relief, but the rest of them need to get a grip once and a while.

You know Puffin Cane and Lily were that couple that held it together until MAB's rewrite of Cane. Lane's love story is unforgettable. Their love for one another and their marriage was beautiful, genuine and one of a kind. They had an old-fashioned romance that is not seen on soaps today and I think that played a huge part of their appeal. I blame this mess on the writing of this dynamic duo.

While I am pissed at Cane for EVERYTHING he did, I think it is only necessary to come to his defense to a certain extent. Lily has every right to be pissed and end her marriage to him if she so chooses, I hope she doesn't, but if she does it would be justified, but all those that threw stones at Cane should have never even opened their mouths.

CHLOE- Came to Genoa City and belittled Lily from day one. She pursued Cane while lying about who she was to get pregnant and get what she believed she was due, a glamorous life. So she molested Cane in a car and tried to pass off another mans baby as his, while for 9 months throwing the same baby in Canes true loves face knowing the baby wasn't his. (This b!tch should have sat on her hands)

Billy- Came to town with a chip on his shoulder and lied about not knowing Chloe knowing there was a possiblity the baby was his. He befriended and slept with Lily knowing he was the father of Chloes baby and could have let Lily and Cane get back together at anytime. He was frequently sleeping with his brothers wife (Sharon) so much so that he slept with her the night before his wedding!!! He left this very BBQ that his wife and baby were at to go and fawn all over Mac! (He should cut his hands off!)


Neil- One word! ADULTERY!!!! not even 48 hours after marrying Karen he slept with another man!! (TYRA aka TYRONE) disgusting! (he shouldn't even have hands)

Nina, Katherine, and Jill- Well ya'll know the history! Phillip faked his death to get away from THEM ALL OF THEM!!!

Ester- " I will never forgive you for this Cane!" ROTFLMFAO I can't even believe they gave her a line!!! WTH has this soap come to to allow Ester to throw stones. Isn't she the reason her and Katherine got kidnapped? ANYHOW!

Sorry so long, I want Lily and Cane to make their way back to each other, but not until Cane pleads his way back into her life for this betrayal!

Cane is the biggest hypocrite of all. Some of you say no one has the right to judge Cane but Cane has been judging people since he came to GC. He has acted on this air of morally supremacy. He demonized Billy & Chloe for the Delia gate. I guess he forgot that he knew the truth all along and could have stopped the whole thing by telling Billy the truth when he first arrived. Did he? No..of course he didn't that would mean he would have to expose his own lies and he wasn't going to do that.

Cane's excuses are weak. "I had a rough childhood" "I wanted to heal you" "I grew up without a family". First, its been 20 years. Kinda dumb to come in now and try to heal the family. Second, he's a grown ass man. He could have created his own family instead of borrowing someone else's. But I suppose Cane never thought of that. Third, Victor was an orphan but I don't remember him pulling cons. Instead he used that experience to become a self-made man.

Making Cane a 30 yr Oliver Twist is pathetic. Its pathetic for the character and its pathetic writing.
