Is Chloe serious!!!! She has a nerve lecturing Cane about lying. Billy sleeps with his brothers wife so he doesn't qualify as a moral standard!! Nina was a HUGE manipulater back in the day!!! As was Katherine. And everyone knows Jills story. I feel so sorry for Cane. I know he is a good person. |

It is one thing to start it but at some point, and it shouldn't have been this THIRD paternity test, to make him question things. If no one else, he should have been honest with Lily. |

Okay, Cane did wrong, but we aren't clear yet on his motives, but we sure know the selfish motives of the rest of the GC residents. |

The problem is not a single one of them recognizes how completely nasty they are. They never apologize for what they have done wrong, or if they do they yell it, along with excuses that they think justifies their actions. Take Billy... he punches out Cane while he just came from an illicit liason with his past. Who is he to pass out judgement. |

It seems the people with the biggest sins are the ones who judge and don't forgive. Billy is such a big man he had to stand on a platform to get to Cane's face. Little big man! |

My mom and her friends told me about the first prime time evening soap..Peyton Place! If you wanted to call a town hypocritical...that was it! Then there was a song. "Harper Valley PTA"..whose lyrics told of a very hypocritical town....nothing new.,..we are still a country made up of states with big cities and small towns spewing rightousness while sinning all the way to church and back! LOL |

Ok I am so happy that someone came up with a thread about this because I was like WOW I know chloe didn't just go there nor did neil. Am I also the one to noticed that when everyone found out about cane they basically stoned him, but when chloe did her misdeeds people acted as if she was the victim who did nothing wrong. This is really unbelievable that they have billy,neil,and chloe grilling cane when they all have been in sin lately especially chloe she basically did the same thing lying about who she was. |

I am adopted since birth and if some woman decided to show up and falsely claim to be my mom to "help me heal" Cane's words, and then I found out she totally lied, give me a break! I would hate her. This is just my opinion, and my interpretation of Kane. He lied because he was friends with Phillip in Australia, and he asked him to go back to Genoa city, and pretend to be him. I have read that he was a street kid,an orphan in his native country.As far as I know he never took any money from Kay or Jill.I am not condoning lying,but who is Cloe, of all people to condemn him, when she lied to him about the paternity of Delia for so long,and dont even get me started on Jill(anybody that would treat someone,or anyone like she has treated Kay). What made Neil so self righteous all of a sudden. And Billy, lets get real, he just came back from a romp with Mac. Dont get me wrong, I like Neil,I just dont like what he did to Karen, I even like Billy, but isnt this the way life really is. The most guilty are usually the first ones to condemn the accused? |
