does anyone think little summer will be written out of the show? any other ideas?

Nope, She has to be proven to be Jack's.

I don't think she will die but I do think she is really Jack's daughter and somehow the truth will come out...

Anything is possible.....have to wait and see....will it go so far as to indict Phyllis for murder or will Paul, Nikki or someone out MJ first? MJ stshed those cookies in her purse...before taking a big bite....wonder if they are still there?

My guess (from another view point) is NO - because they would have had to have taken quite some time and effort to find an actress the caliber of the young girl they have. Since other than eating the cookies and saying a few lines, all she has done is lie around in bed - they could have kept on the other actresses. It's hard to lie still - but not so much so that they would have spent the effort to find such a little "pro" -- that said, just my opinion - I would assume there is a much larger story line waiting for her. For someone so young, she already has quite a resume - I hope they truly use her to this kids ability and capacity...

The spoiler talk about Sharon and Phyllis point in the direction that Summer will be the Newman that dies...unless these two women can commiserate with each other ...cough cough....but that is just my interpretation...not a spoiler. About the darling they just recast.....yes she is a cutie and viewers were quick to fall in love with her...in my opinion she served her purpose. Also in my opinion she was never Jack's daughter. Nick never lied.

Nope, Summer will not die. The spoiler spec about Sharon and Phylis is not about Summer's death. My prediction is Sharon is so empathetic with what Phyllis and Nick are going through she feels she can offer Phyllis some words of comfort/encouragement, having gone through the agony of watching her daughter unconscious. Sharon once again will be thinking of others' before herself.

I've always believed Summer is Jack's - no question. Who says Nick has to lie for this to come about? It's really not that difficult to bring this to fruition and doesn't require Nick lying.

Summer won't die! Giving the writers credit (and I do this reluctantly) they can write many s/l's surrounding Summer, her baby-sister-to-be and Shick/Phack. Too much potential.

But, maybe they want Phyllis to go thru some kind of pain I hope not. Can't deal with the "Phyllis Show" again. If you think they stretched Cassie's death, imagine how much they would stretch Phyllis in pain

I don't think she will die. That would be too much for Nick to bear.
