I agree that Lily does have a right to be upset but I feel she needs to stop running home to Neil. She is a married woman and as long as she is around her family they will discourage her from communicating with Cane. No matter what Cane has done, it is very clear that he loves Lily very much. He came to GC to find a family and help PC3 out. He didn't plan on falling in love but he did. To give him credit, after he got married he called Philip and told him what was happening but Philip asked him to keep up the charade. It is not like he maliciously continued lying. He informed Philip that Nina was investigating and Philip still wanted him to carry on lying. And what I know of the Cane character, he is loyal and supportive of the people that he loves.

Lily needs to work her business out and keep her family out of it. Devon has no right speaking to Cane in Cane's house like that. I think they have gone too far with that. Cane allowed Devon and Neil to speak to him like that because he respects them as Lily's family and he feels ashamed of what he did. Respect should go both ways. Cane treats Lily well so I hope that Colleen is the voice of reason in all of this. You can sympathize with Lily but point out too that she has never been happier than when she was with Cane and that it is as plain as the nose on her face that Cane really and truly loves her.

Exactly, this is about deception, lies, and trust. Cane may not have set out to intentionally hurt Lily, but his choices and actions have caused her great pain. Lily has every right to be upset. She needs some time to process what she has learned and to sort out her emotions. Then she can determine how to handle her marriage. If she chooses to do that at home with Neil, then that is her choice. There is nothing childest about leaning on family for support and everyone on this soap has done it. If she was sticking by his side without wavering, people would call her weak and needy. She's wrong regargless of what she does to some people.

I have not seen the show, but Devon doesn't need to criticize anyone. Next, he'll be fantasizing about Ana.

yes Lily has every right to be pi$$ed at Cane..but that doesnt mean that she should just bail on her marriage and run back to Daddys

Of course, Lilly has a right to be upset. Her world has just fallen apart because of what Cane has done. Her reaction to that was justified and understandable. I like Cane but all his convincing lies with such a sincere caring nature about him I really don't understand. And I really need to understand this more just like everyone else involved. Lily is really hurt right now. She needs to get over this tremendous shock and it will take some time for her to process this. Just like everyone else. There is really no excuse for decieving all the people that Cane did. I hope that in some way, he does pay for what he has done. He needs to know the seriousness of what he did. He might have meant well, but he decieved all the people that he claimed to love and care about. We need to know all the facts and I'm sure that Lilly will too.

She doesn't deserve what happened but come on Neil, let your daughter grow up. Lily, you yourself said it didn't matter if Cane was a Chancellor. I am just hoping the writers will open Lily's eyes and keep this couple together. They really work.

Lily will be find,she just find out her husband has been lying to everyone for almost 2 years and she need time to digest it.This is the man she loves and want to have children with only to find out such news.
