lily has a right to be upset

I feel badly for her. Maybe the writers can somehow redeem Cane's character, but I don't know how they can do that with this big mess!!! |

I kinda wish the writers make her think about this thing with Cane. I truly believe he loves her. Being newlyweds they are at the stage were they could forgive each other anything. I mean he only lied about his whole existence. Petty stuff. I said it before and I'll say it again. If Nikki can forgive Paul for giving her the clap. Anybody should be able to forgive anything on a soap. |

This is not about being a Chancellor heir or namesake. It is about a deception that went on for two years while he smiled, lied and kept right on smiling. He lies sooooooo easily. How can Lily trrust ANYTHING he said was the truth? His deception was selfishly motivated and hurt many people affecting many lives -and broke Lily's heart. Tight up to the end he lied..asking for a celebration kiss when his DNA results were shown he was PC III...AMAZING! Then the DNA testing for Dehlia....had Chloe not owned up Cane never would have....Chloe could have had her baby ripped from her by a deceitful liar. No this is not about lying about your name, or the year of your birth...it is stealing someones trust and playing on that for 2+ years for your own agenda and needs.You put yourself first Cane..your needs not Lily. You do not do that to someone you love. |

Remember, he didn't come to GC because of Lilly. He came because of Phillip...his homie! Cane just so happened to fall in love with Lilly. How hurt and devastated could she really be? Now she knows why he wouldn't talk about his life in Australia. And I say this again, he wasn't out to hurt her, he only loved her. Lilly needs to learn how to forgive. She wouldn't do it with Daniel and I doubt she will with Cane. Cane's loyalty was to Phillip and let's face it...the situation worked for everyone until Nina's son was found to have some rare illness  Now we have to go thru Nina's whining and carrying on. She does have the right to be angry and so does jill but they need to put the blame where it belongs and that's on Phillip.Silly delicate Lilly will cry on daddy's shoulder and her fake brother who wanted to be her lover will play tough guy in her defense and smother her. Lilly needs to grow up and pick herself up and dust herself off and confront this like a woman. You don't turn feelings like love on and off like a light switch. She can work it out with Cane. The truth is out. Now they can heal and move on (Cane and Lilly) Jill, Nina and Phillip is a whole other story. |

i so agree with you, lilly has a right to be upset but if she really loves cane then she should hear him out and try to work it out, thats why there are so many divorces. people don't try to work things out. cane is good to her doesn't beat on her. he lied yes but not out of malice, he didn't expect to meet lily and fall in love with her, sometimes you get in deeper and never quite know how to come clean, talking always helps. |

Lily needs to stop running away, and face up to situations with a back bone. Cane is still Cane, and if she would show some forgiveness and understanding things would work out. And Devon needs to butt out, he is a self righteous jerk. Nobody would dare to come into my house and confront my husband that way. He would simply receive a blow to his ego, and be escorted out by a well placed boot to his arrogant ass. "I'd like to help you out... which way did you come in."

He allowed Lily to talk him into the marriage to do the right thing and pretended he didnt want to but needed to give the child a family..a father..something he never had..bla bla....knowing the baby HAD A FATHER - AND IT WAS BILLY NOT HIM! I think Lily has a right to be upset because he told her he only knew what Langley told him it made it seem like he didn't really know what was going on but in reality he was deliberately lying. That being said I think eventually Lily will forgive him. I think Cane does love them all and it will just take time for everyone to forgive him. My problem with Cane was when he was acting a fool with Billy, Chloe and the baby. We shall see but I think everything will be okay. |
