This doesn't make sense to me either! Cane swabbed his own cheek This is where my theory of the 2 babies comes into play. I think Cane may just be Phillip's paternal twin.

OR knowing the writers, they'll probably let that s/l go by the wayside without addressing it!

Cane may be a liar but shoot...I understand....he was just looking out for his BFF.

Much less he really does love Lilly.. -

I saw the lie a mile away but I just laugh cause not one character is "perfect"........but I will Cane any day over some others.....

Jill, Neil and Lilly need to go one side and go look into their own glass houses.....they aint right.

Please let him just be Cane with no strings attached....it would be refreshing to have someone on the show that's not related....he can make his own millions like Victor and no one can tell him anything about anything cause he's his own man!!

I agree Keep! Too many bloopers and holes in ALL of the s/l's. Cane's character has great potential! I'm watching the US Show right now and he's doing a good job acting this one out.

Can't wait to hear what the heck Phillip has to say!

The fact that Cane is not perfect makes me like him even more--amazing. It was wrong for him to lie to Lily, Jill and the rest of the family but anyone with eyes can see that he really does love all of them. Neil needs to take a step back and let Lily ask a few questions without his interference, he knows what its like to be caught up in a lie. No one at the party has room to look down their noses at Cane cause he sure ain't the first to pull a fast one.

I use to LOVE Neil , when Dru was alive but he has really gone down hill ever since she died.

I'm not really happy with Cane telling all these lie's but for now I'l stay on his side atleast until I hear what the real deal is.

I was really "down in the dumps" about this storyline and the way that I knew that it would play out. I knew that MAB and her cronies were going to get down and dirty with Cane, make him look like a real con artist, and leave him stripped to the bone with no friends, family or acquaintances. And they did just that! But you know what else they did not count on? DG's acting skills. This guy is superb and he made me feel his pain in being exposed as a liar. Thru his skill as an actor, I felt the pain of his victims. I could really empathize with this guy. Do I love this guy? Yes! Am I in his corner--come hell or highwater? YES! Will he be redeemed? Yes!

He is alone and lonely now w/o friends or family, but all will see this guy for the great human being that he is and the great friend that he has been to everybody. I cannot for the life of me understand Chloe's, Billy's, and Esther's attitudes. They should be thanking him and not joining the crowd to condemn him. Billy got one "free punch" and he had better enjoy it because he won't get another. When Cane comes out of this stupor, he is going to start swinging back. I agree with you, Cliquot! Cane is definitely a fighter and he is relentless when he wants something. This guy goes after it with a vengeance! So, YES, I am definitely on Cane's side. I am a die hard LANER!

Good post... I mostly agree. I am not so much of a Lily fan though, and think Cane could actually do better. That being said, if Lily develops a back bone, and tells her Daddy and brother to butt the hell out of her decisions, I just may change my mind.
However, about Cane... He has now become my favorite male character on this soap. I am officially a Cane fan.

Don't get me started on Niel. Here he is cheating on his wife of 3 months and no one in GC ask any questions about where is the mans wife. Cane gets humiliated in front of the whole town. Instead of judging Cane he really aught to put his stone down and go back inside his own glass house! the most annoying hypocrite in town. My Niel hate had started to simmer but it is boiling today!

I still think that Cane purposely made sure that the blood sample was "still" frozen when he switched it, because WHY only this one sample? While the reveal of the samples in the freezer was happening, Cane was thinking out loud about it being time for PC3 to come home, quit running, and FACE the truth. And in true soap opera style CANE is the one to make just that happen NOT NINA. Cane is the one who is tired of the lies, lies, and more lies


A lot more is explained on Monday's episode - and Cane, it turns out, is quite angry with Phillip for showing up - so this theory that he caused the reveal on purpose isn't right. Just thought I'd let you know. The swab etc. is also explained.

And what about Chloe too!!!!! She's right in the fight like a dirty shirt. She has got alot of nerve yelling at Cane about how he knew he was never the father and knew Billy was all along. SHE'S yelling at him?!?!?! She knew the whole time too!!! Chloe is a self righteous freak show!!!

Thanks Candace I kinda figured that out when I saw FRIDAY'S U.S. episode. It WON'T be the FIRST time I have been wrong and it certainly WON'T be the last time either. To me, so MUCH of the fun is the ride(and the speculation)and of course the aftermath of the reveal in most of the s/l's...............................................

First of all NEIL'S NUMBER ONE job and responsibility is to be LILY's father and of couse he is going to defend his daughter and be on her "side" because she feels BETRAYED. Everyone in Cane's family feels BETRAYED. And before you get all up in my face, I have defended the character of Cane quite often and like him. Lily is very young and she is hurt, she was hurt in her first marriage and here come the hurt & lies again. Lily & Cane will re-unite because it is the way of the soaps, but so is DRAMA and there has to be that before you get the love again. Lily has a "HUGE" s/l coming up with her health issues. She & Cane will need each other. He will be her ROCK, he is a FIGHTER. I still think that Cane purposely made sure that the blood sample was "still" frozen when he switched it, because WHY only this one sample? While the reveal of the samples in the freezer was happening, Cane was thinking out loud about it being time for PC3 to come home, quit running, and FACE the truth. And in true soap opera style CANE is the one to make just that happen NOT NINA. Cane is the one who is tired of the lies, lies, and more lies(he's not the only one to lie either ie. Sharon's lie about Faith's paternity, Phyllis lie about Daniel's paternity, Chloe's lie about Dee's paternity, Jack's lies about the diary, Adum's lies about EVERYTHING, and MJ's lies about Phyllis)and he just wants the truth to come out, so the FORGIVENESS can begin. The forgiveness will come but it will not happen slowly. Case in point, Sharon's eventual forgiveness by Nick, Cassie & Noah when she left her family & came back(I believe she was renegoiating her contract then). She slowly worked her way back to her family because of LOVE. The same thing will happen with Cane and his family including LILY, JILL, KATHERINE, MURPHY, BILLY, CHLOE, DEVON, and NEIL. Give it time and remember Cane is nicknamed(his rugby blokes call him HURRICANE because he is tough, and strong. Do you know anything about RUGBY? It is like our football(the ball is shaped different) but with NO PADS, so he is tough. ROCKY BALBOA tough, like against DRAGO tough. Cane will fight back and his allies will suprise you. Nina will be his staunchest supporter AFTER she talks to PC3 and gets the whole story, you watch. Nina is tenacious like a bulldog, pitbull, and CHOW all rolled into one.


Once again cliquot for me you have knocked it out of the park. Your words are so very true. I agree totally. I am in awe of you wisdom concerning this s/l Keep it coming.

As for my own thoughts, I love both Cane and Lily and while I can understand Neil he needs to stand back and have some perspective on this situation. As someone said people that live in glass houses dam sure shouldn't cast stones that includes Nina, Jill, Kay, Billy, Devon (having dreams about a woman he thought was his aunt and for the longest time he lusted after Lily) and most especially Chloe.

The explanation of the "SWAB" left a lot to be desired. I think Cane will be getting a bad rap.
