this S/L to death. Now their making fun of the Gay's.
They already made fun of the Disabled. Who is going to be next
that they make fun off?

Haven't seen any evidence of poking fun at gays or people with disabilities. Adam's attempts to distract Rafe in no way poke fun at his homosexuality. In fact the scene was tastefully executed. Rafe may be using Adam's own ploy against himself through Rafe's ability to detect his faking.
Are you referring to Sharon's mother, Doris being in a wheelchair as poking fun at people with disabilities? Devon's challange with his hearing defect was treated with respect and continues without incident.
Adam's blindness was self induced and the character was given the option to leave jail and reside at his father's estate because of his blindness. No expense was spared by Victor to cure him of his blindness. No fun was poked at him..he did that to himself and even rendered himself blind in sight and morally depraved.

The writers can be challenged for their lack of attention to detail and restructuring characters until they are no longer recognizable but I do not see now or have I ever witnessed bashing such as the type you are describing.

I think they carry on most s/l tooooooooooo long. By the time it ends, we're all bored with it. I don't think they were making fun of people with dissabilities or gay people, just carrying on too long and reallllly, what woman would not know she is no longer pregnant???? Duhhhhhhhh

Sorry, but I have not seen any poking of fun to anyone. One of the good things about this soap opera is that for as long as it has been on, it has introduced to us things that happen to some people in real life. We are given the opportunity to watch how these individuals are excepted and how they handle their disabilities. It also shows us how to respect them for the struggles they go thru in life. Those are things that drew me to this show. It did have a wonderful s/l each day. Todays y&r is not the same one we grew to love in the past. It has become a horror show. I am waiting for the Ashley s/l to end so I can start watching it again. I only read spoilers now.

I am ready for this s/l to end because of what it has done to Ashley. She used to be an intelligent, strong woman. Now she has become this idiotic hapless buffoon.

Now, his latest plan is to "pretend" that he's gay! GMAB! He's trying to play Rafe-make a fool out of him! But, Adam may be the one getting played! I'm hoping that Rafe is on to Adam and that he is smart enough to know what Adam is doing. And that he plays the same game with him so that when Adam slips up on something, Rafe is right there that moment and he turns him in for all the things he has done.[/quote IA: Eventually Adam will slip up...and I hope Rafe will be the person to bust him soon! But when the truth is discovered, it's no telling who will get him!

This is definitely one storyline that I wish they would wrap up quickly. I want to leave the room or fast forward through scenes Adam or Ashley are in. I detest what the writers have done with both of them. I truly wish they would have Ashley officially have a miscarriage and have Adam take off and go into hiding. How they would ever back pedal and keep him around GC after this storyline finally plays out...it would be impossible. He will either have to be killed off or run off. Sooner than later, please! The thought of Adam and MJ teaming up...the thought of Sharon's baby being taken and given to Ashley...the thought of the scenes with Ashley actually going into fake labor...it all makes me want to be sick. I'll FF through their scenes. I just can't stomach anymore of this. It's actually upsetting. I had a miscarriage twice and I also have 2 children...the storyline really is just too sick, twisted and grose for me! I think it's easier to take the crazy, farfetched storylines than some of these that hit a little too close to home.

Anyone who has had a high risk pregnancy can dismiss this storyline immediately. Ashley would have been considered high risk not only for her age, but also because she lost Robert and no longer has a uterus. haha????????????? A woman of her means would be getting ultrasounds every few weeks. Absolutely ridiculous. Writers, at least talk to someone who has experienced this.
