Cane submitted Philips blood to prove he was related through all the DNA test..Never his own. So, when he found out Chloe was pregnant he had his mouth swabbed and found out it was a GREAT possibility that she was carrying his child. So, (1)The DNA results used Cane's actual saliva, which if they did, how could he be a possible match, he's not Jill's son. He's not related to Billy who is the father. So, the other possibility was...(2) Cane was so worried that maybe he did sleep with Chloe, and since it was a possibility of him being the father..maybe he somehow switched whatever they used for the test to be Philips DNA so that the test would say NO WAY and he wouldn't loose Lily. And, if he did do that..wouldn't that throw up a HUGE flag saying Woooo I used Philips DNA and it's still a good chance I'm the father? Why would Cane knowingly lose Lily and marry Chloe when he knew it couldn't be his if he used Philips DNA. So that leads me to believe that he used his own DNA and somehow IS related to Jill. Does anyone understand my babble and see what I'm getting at?

I think you are wrong about that(Charme) because we are getting a spoiler that (on Fri. U.S. episode)when Cane confesses and everyone is asking him why,why, why, how could you do this, etc. PC3 comes in and says DON'T blame him it was me who changed the DNA results. If you like your character you need to have FAITH in your character as an individual & as a couple. Do not give up because soaps put the couples together only to cause drama and break them up only to put them back together. When TPTB leave your couple alone then you will know they won't be getting a good s/l and this will be missing in action. Witness Michael & Lauren(happy couple) that is seldom seen. Cane & Lily(the newlyweds are having some drama)but they will only be apart temporarily because she will be needing him soon. Oh, Neil will get all indignant because he is protecting his "baby girl" and Billy will punch him because there is still residual anger over the attempted custody
battle but they will re-unite. Like I said in an earlier thread Cane has lied, lied, lied but no more than every other character in GC(Jack lied about TGVN's diary,Adum lied about EVERYTHING, Sharon lied about Faith's paternity, Phyllis lied about Daniel's paternity, MJ lied about Phyllis & the cookie etc.)and his "family will eventually forgive him. Cane's family all love him whether they are related by blood or not. Hasn't Y&R showed that "blood" relation is only skin deep over and over again. Lily is not Neil's bio child, Cassie was not Nick's, or Victor's, or Nikki's bio child, Nick was not Jack's bio kid, Noah was not Noah's bio kid, and Cane is not Jill's bio kid but he is still loved. You will see, Y&R is teaching us a lesson about forgiveness. PC3 will have to spin a long tale and will he get forgiveness, too? We shall see.
