I enjoyed the original Lily and Cane storyline thru video clipss that are still on YouTube. Cane and Lily were always doing something even if it was just a movie and dinner on the LR couch or meeting at CL or Club Indigo. There are dates, a concert, lunches, dinners at the Winters, a gala, etc. Colleen and Lily always took time to see and enjoy each other and I enjoyed their friendship. None of that happens now. Nobody in GC works or even goes to the office anymore except Neil and we don't get to see that. We just hear about it. There has always been a balance of joy, excitement, and/or some entertainment mixed with the gloom and doom on Y&R. Enjoyment? That factor is gone, so it is hard for me to enjoy all these constant and endless stressful, traumatic, gloomy and dour storylines. My mind needs a break in order to keep my sanity, BUT I am glad that you are enjoying it. I love Lily and I watch ONLY because I support Lily AND Cane.

I really hope Lilly doesn't have cancer or have to have a hysterectomy. If the writers go this route I really hope they bring back Karen to help Lilly get through this. There's nothing like having a caring friend that's been through the same thing to relate to.

IMO, the character of Lilly has a lot of growing up to do. If it's true that she really is diagnosed with cancer — I think (or at least hope) that it will result in her having a better understanding of the true meaning of forgiveness and realize that she has strong uncondtional love and support around her. Even with Cane — whom she feels has betrayed her.

I hope not, or maybe it a way to bring Dru back (she got swepaway and have amnesia see a picture of her daughter in R/S battling cancer and get her memory back. Hello GC Dru is back

After watching today's episode it is obvious that Lilly is very upset with Cane and he will have to try to do anything possible to win her heart back. Lilly having Cancer is a possibility because this will be a good storyline for Cane to prove that he is a good guy and he will stand by Lilly during a bad time. So even though it looks bad between Cane and Lilly now I think there is still hope for them unless Daniel Goffard wants off the show.

No way! Karen got on my nerves. If Lilly has cancer Aunt olivia or Cane will help her through it.

I so upset. As an African American female, I don't think the writers are "picking" on Lily. However, whether black or white, it would be so nice to witness sme true love and joy on Y&R. Most of us have fallen in love with the Lily/Cane story because it is positive and hopeful. Sure we have Victoria and JT and Michael and Lauren, but we never see the main characters happy for long. Victor and Nikki should be together, Nick and Sharon should be together and Cane and Lily (IMO)
Just when they hit me with Cane and his sad story, now you say that Lily may have cancer this summer??? Life is not all about one tragedy after another. I don't think it is a race issue, but something's gotta give for the Lily character.

Cancer... not a good direction to take with Lilly. The writers need to build this character more before they tear her apart.

In another post labeled spoilers for 7/13, it says Lily receives bad news, or something to that effect. I'm guessing this is when it starts.
It's a terrible thing for Lily to have this put on her at such a young age but it'll give her a storyline that will really show her great acting ability. Also if adoption is in the cards for she and Cane, if they reunite, I don't remember this ever being shown either.
At the end of the day, I truly believe after the shock wears off, she'll step up and accept whatever is thrown her way.

i can complain about this s/l if it denies lily any chance of having a child. this woman has been through so much for her age. my point is, if she continue to suffer more pain now, what in the world can they do to her when she gets old.
