since cane is a fraud and it seems as though him and lilly are no longer going to be together i wonder if they are going to have lilly have cancer or was it a false spoiler. i would thing that now since she is going to leave cane they will no longer try to have a baby. i hope they do change this storyline. i know she has already had an abnormal pap smear but that could be abnormal for mamy reason other than cancer.

I don't understand the writers. I can not imagine them putting one character in as much turmoil as they have Lily. From the time she came back from Paris...it was Kevin the pedophile, Kevin/Danile/Alex drug debacle, Chloe manipulations, Billy's lies and now Cane's so called lies! I just don't think the writers like her much.

Maybe the s/l will be reversed and Lily will be already pregnant with Cane's baby right now...

It makes not sense to me. She has gone thru Hell at the hands of the writers. I would expect this type of writing for one of the character's that have lied, cheated, manipulated, hurt, stole or just plain hated on another....but not sweet and innocent Lily. Yes, I say innocent because there is an innocent quality about her.

How is the original post a spoiler bout Lily having cancer?

Alot of people are talking and they all seem to drawn the seem conclusion because Lily is a beautiful young lady of color, THE WRITER SEEM TO PICK ON HER, AND ALOT PEOPLE THING IT ALL COME DOWN TO ONE THING RACIAL BECAUSE IT SEEM LIKE THE WRITER DONT CARE ABOUT LILY AT ALL AND IF PEOPLE DONT SEE WHAT GOING ON SOMETHING IS WRONG.

I love Lily. I just hope IF the writers do create that
story line that they DON'T KILL LILY OFF. Geez!

In a spoiler site I read the surgeon is talking to (Victor & Ashley) whose names are written over the ones whited out, and I quote "thought to be Lily and Cane." When she asks how much he had to remove, he said the cancer had spread to her fallopian tubes and uterus.
I read this is suppose to be later in the summer.

It is just a recycle of YR's storyline from the past. Ashley had a hysterectomy several years ago. IMO, it is an attempt to showcase Victor's virility. Ashley's pregnancy is not credible. I understand creating stories bigger than life but credibility is still a crucial piece. This is the information age, the tired and recycled nonsense [Soap tactics] of the 70s, 80s, and 90s do not work anymore.

The audience is crying out for something real, credible. Yet the Soap industry decision makers continue to scratch their head about the rating woes. Well duh!

So it appears the hysterectomy storyline will be recycled for Lily.

It is madness to give Lily a hysterectomy. If that is the writers plan.

Lily is a wonderful character who has been showcased often having many s/l's. There are complaints when a actor of color isn't showcased enough and doesn't have a credible s/l and complaints that when they are central to the soap the s/l's are not what they want to see.

The actor has been given many opportunities to showcase her talents through her portrayal of situations that require the ability to draw upon her skills showing a wide range of emotions. She has succeedded brilliantly!

While I would like to see Lily's character enjoy some happiness I enjoy her triumphs over adversity through her strengths and that always brings her happiness!
