The Young and the Restless - MESSAGE BOARDS

If you have stopped watching, or just reading the Spoilers and the message boards, you are seeing as I am that there are not many people happy with Y&R.
I believe the ratings are up because we are all just taping and Fast forwarding until we get to a point we can stand.
So, what can we do to save the Y&R. How can we get the writers to know how unhappy we are with the show. Yeah, Yeah, I know you can't please every one all the time, but if you read the boards, you will not find many happy watchers. NO matter what site you go to. For some reason you will not read anywhere in any soap opera mag. about how we are disgusted with the show. Wonder why.
I have mailed a comment to the show, but I don't know if that is what needs to be done. Unless we all flood their mail boxes. Any one have any suggestions? I know People make a difference. Not a boycott, that would not work. Most don't want the show off the air, we just want a show that makes sense. William Bell used his imaginaton to create the show, I have no earthly idea where these s/l's are coming from.

I don't think there is a thing us fans can do. The writers totally ignore us and what we want. I am sorry to say I think they will keep on with their silly , unbelievable storylines until the fans are so fed up that they stop watching , and then the show will be cancelled. I hope this doesn't happen , but so far they couldn't care less about what us fans want , and I don't see that changing.

Everyone should stop watching for a whole week. That would get the point across. It would be hard to do though.

I firmly believe that writing the Sponsors of the show would produce more results. I don't think that not watching the show will have any effect - the production staff apparently doesn't care. The Sponsors will definitely sit up and take notice if viewers tell them they refuse to buy their products until some positive changes are made in the production. Just pay attention to who is sponsoring and write those companies with your complaints.

I've been happily watching the show for 21 years and the last few months, I've been very disappointed. The final straw happened this week when Sharon told Jack the baby is his when it is Nick's. Why???? One of the things I've always liked about the show was that it was believable and if it was crazy drama, the writers still found a way to make sense out of it. Over the past few months, there have been so many loopholes in the story lines, it's extremely unbelievable, and they need to bring life back into the show!!! The reason Y & R currently has so many fans is due to the excellent writing of the past that made us HAVE to watch everyday. The writers of Y & R need to bring that urge back for us to WATCH!!!
