Whatever..whenever..Lily is screwed as is Jill again! Forgive me posters I had a Y&R writers moment not making sense and getting my facts mixed up. |

So when they said the sample he gave could not be excluded that leaves only one person.....Billy My mistake all along got me. I was thinking there was no way he knew from the start.Still doesn't make any sense they did a swab from his mouth not a blood test. I agree! They did do a cheek swab...I remember it because they went to Cane and Lilys house to do it. The writers must have screwed up on that detail. Maybe they will explain it away by have Cane pay off the lab tech or something. |

The one thing that has made me dislike the other characters in this scenerio is the fact that Cane is always expendable to keep the other two (Chloe and Billy) likeable and redeemable. 2. They have to continue to make Chloe an alright gal and redeemable (so very obviously favoritism beyond belief). I can go along with the s/l and Cane being a liar, but in the case of Dehlia and how MAB decided to handle the answer to so many's question about the DNA matching, I am totally disgusted and disheartened; but I should not be suprised. When it comes to Cane and Lily and Billy/Chloe, Cane/Lily will always take the hit from MAB, which is upsetting to know and realize. |

He allowed Jill the women he has lied to and the woman that defended him all along - even giving him preference over her REAL SON BILLY - to exhume the body of the boy she raised for 20 years and buried as her REAL SON KNOWING IT WAS EMPTY! And Katherine....an 80 year old women you profess to love - gave her a mini stroke...yes Jill delivered the blows but you handed her the ammunition! And Nina...PC III's wife..YOU LET HER THINK HER HUSBAND WAS DEAD TO FIND THE GRAVE EMPTY AND HAVE JILL AND KATHERINE AS WELL AS YOUR WIFE LILY QUESTION HER MOTIVES WHILE HER OWN SON MAY HAVE A FATAL DISEASE! Then have the unmitigated GALL to stand there and tell her you understand her anziety and hold no animosity toward her oozing false sincerity! Absolutely nothing is honorable or real about you. Redeemable for the life of depravity in the outback. As Victor told Jeffrey "Go back to the swamp you crawled out of." |

To me it seems that MAB is hellbent on undoing everything LML did and it doesn't matter how she has to do it whether the explainations make sense or not. MAB doesn't want one happy couple on this show. Katherine and Murphy are it and who knows if MAB will let that last. Off the subject but how do you find the ratings for the show. I am interested in seeing if the ratings for the shows at? |

I mean, the sloppy writing, disregard for the history of the character and those who have been watching this soap for years is atrocious. I must admit that I had started watching this show again for Lily and Cane. However, the quality and writing on this show is so bad that I think I am going to have to let this go. I also heard somewhere that MAB did not like the Lily and Cane pairing because she did not create it and it shows. She is destroying this couple and their characters. What is up with this chick?

Oreo you did not address what my entire point was: MAB knew that she really couldn't explain the Dehlia thing, because Cane did not portray someone in the know. Bell took a screwed up/easy way out by saying Cane knew all along. That was simply added to appease those asking the question and to not divert her road to redemption for Chloe. MAB could have just as easily have said Chloe paid the guy off, which is more plausible than what we're getting that Cane knew all along. Sorry but I can't separate reelality from the reality of how this part of the story was written. For the record Cane lied, but others have done so much worse, the list is too long to name, so why shouldn't he be forgiven as well? |

MAB imo is either arrogant or stupid. Arrogant she is tearing down all of the storylines and couples created by LML because she thinks her writing is better and so far she hasn't proven that to me. Stupid she thinks everyone will continually watch the show unhappy or not because they love Y&R and the ratings won't fall and she can write what she wants whether the viewers like it or not. What she may not realize is people are really getting fed up and leaving. The trend is going toward reading the updates and the boards for information instead of actually watching the show. |

JK9898 to my understanding it is MAB's intention to undo everything LML did. This is a mistake, because everything the woman did was not wrong. One's keep saying she's doing a great job but the ratngs and the emmy noms do not reflect this. As for finding out the ratings I'm not sure, perhaps someone else can answer the question. |

I have posted many times and in many ways that MAB is ruining characters and her partner in crime, Hogan S. is responsible just as he was on ATWT and DOOL until they both relieved him of his duties. Having said that....this is the character Cane has become (like it or not) and what we have to accept as the s/l. We cannot reinvent the wheel only they can..the writers. It has taken many many years for characters to redeem themselves of terrible deeds and mistakes (Phyllis is still trying and it is taking Summer being in a coma to let us see all the support she is getting after being arrested for a hedious crime she didn't commit)...Cane is not going to be redeemed in a few episodes after what he has done to so many people as I explained in my last post here. THe only hope I have is that darn belt buckle that was mentioned once or twice before and zoomed in on in MOnday's US episode. It may be a link to the past (a family symbol or something) and show him USING HIS OWN BLOOD OR SALVIA to be directly related to someone in GC. Maybe John Abbott..orVictor's brother Matt Miller! Anything is possible as we have seen. |

Oreo if I have learned one thing from Lane's s/l and others, it simply is what it is with Y&R, MAB and the writers. There are no big surprises or creativity. If they tell you it's blue it blue no in between. |

Oh there are surprises....strangers are taking over the characters personas and they are no longer recognizable to who they have been for years or new characters twisted and shaped into lieing conniving robots with no human feelings at all! Some lines are supurb...and the acting brillant...it is the shock of tuning in and not recognizing your favorite character anymore that is causing such displeasure. Hey..s/l's come and go and so do writers!
