PEOPLE, please!! Let's get to the real heart of this. Once again, Adam showed his true colors and just how far he is willing to go to gaslight Ashley, and exact revenge on Victor and Jack! He cheated on Heather, a woman he supposedly is so in love with to protect his secret that he framed Estella and caused harm to Ashley. The fact that the person he cheated with is a man is just icing on the cake. Adam is a dangerous person, probably the one of the most dangerous Y&R has seen to date, and GC needs to watch out before he and MJ Benson team up and wreak havoc on them! He has no moral compass (not in the gay/straight sense). He is willing to hurt whomever, and willing to have sex with someone he's not attracted to to further his agenda.

At the top of all posts, it is shown that the original post was at 10:20 AM this morning. There have been 21 replies thus far and even the first post begins after 10:20 and all additional posts are time-stamped after this time yet begin with comments about the original post! Again, where is the original post? Original posts show up on all other threads — that's how we stay on topic. If the post was removed for some reason - it would seem that all subsequent posts would be removed as well but at the very least we should be given some kind of explanation. Does anyone know what happened?

Rafe's scene with Adam discussing Adam's insistance that inmates injected hypos into his eyeballs showed Adam and Rafe - as any couple in a new relationship - unsure of each other. Adam is clearly not gay and considered telling Rafe the truth while "practicing" how he would do this before Rafe's arrival. Rafe's suspicions about Adam's explanation of how he was tortured by inmates in this manner caused Adam to rethink that plan and continue to pretend he was gay and had feelings for Rafe.
In one moment "Do you think I am stupid!" we think Rafe knows Adam is play acting to divert his attention away from his suspicions. Immediately we see that he is not aware of Adam's ploy and is taken in by him.
Many will reject this s/l as an insult to gays in making Rafe susceptible to Adam's advances. However we see women and men (heterosexual couples) fall prey to believing in another's feelings for them all the time. It does not diminish the fooled party's intelligence. It does diminish the person pretending to care for someone for their own selfish reasons character. THe fooled party always gets the support. If Rafe does not realize Adam is using him he is like so many people that have had this done to them. It doesn't diminish him one iota or is it disrespectful to gays. Liars cheat and cheaters lie whether you are gay or straight. If it is impossible to imagine a gay person's inability to recognize when someone is pretending to be gay...maybe not! Adam is a good con man...and he may have enjoyed the experience.....it doesn't make Rafe a fool...only Adam more evil and slipping deeper into that dark abyss we know as he!!.

I don't care if it's a gay storyline or not -- what saddens me is it seems there is no way to redeem Adam now. Maybe that's also what CE thought when he left the show.

I mean, it could be woman-man, man-man, woman-woman -- but the heart of the story is someone who will stop at nothing to get his way -- gas-lighting Ashley and making her think she's still pregnant and now toying with the affections of a friend (as I said, I don't care man or woman) it's his using everyone and every thing to get his way and to cover up his own misdeeds that is getting sickening. Cuz it's constant. We see very few real, honest, tender moments of Adam - even alone. He doesn't seem to honestly talk about being scared about going blind -- it's always only when "what can he do to manipulate something."

Even on a show like Dallas - they had the character of JR - someone you love to hate -- there's a way to make a character "likable" and yet do bad deeds -- but the writers have crossed the line with Adam... I don't think they can bring him back.

No one can blame Rafe for falling for Adams lies for we have seen that he's a master manipulator. He's gotten Victor, Ashley, Heather and now Rafe all believing him. No easy feat after what has gone on. Heck even Nikki and Victoria are starting to feel sorry for the guy.

I think Adam should be the lawyer because he's one smooth talker. As evil as he is, I hope the character stays on because I do like him. I just wish he was given some better s/ls. I think Adam would be a great arch enemy to anyone they put him up against.

Why not have him as the prodigal son of Victor going against another Abbott like Billy? Jack vrse Victor, Adam vrse Billy. Now that would be worth watching.
