The camerman zoomed in on Cane's belt buckle before he left Jimmy's in yesterday's episode. I recall this buckle being mentioned once before... Could it be a clue to his past? Wouldn't it be a hoot if he was related to someone in GC afterall.....even the baby switched at birth and he never knew nor did PC III? Just a thought.

Missed it I guess. What was on the belt buckle?

I bet any money that he is related to Jack!!! Jack has a few kids out there that he doesn't really know... remember when Kemo came in to the story? Then there was Kyle that he and Phyllis got custody of... Summer of course and there must be another one that I just can't think of... so Jacko is the king of being a dad without knowing it! Can't wait for it to play out!!!

Ok Oreo I'll bite what was on Cane's belt buckle? What is the clue. By the way am I mistaken Cane was desoras to 33 or 34. When he first started courting Lily he said she was 19 and he was 31. Besides Jack and Jill are in the same age group.

i was wondering if i just imagined a scene with a cast member who had a coat of arms made up..... and was going to hang it up???? darn, i can't remember if it was on this soap or else i saw it on amc which is the only other one i watch....

The writers have been pretty much clueless so why would they be so creative now.

Maybe they just wanted to show us what a nice waiste line he has.

This reminds me of all the Phillip this and that speculation and I knew Cane was a fraud. lol

Don't need too much thought to penetrate these s/ls.

But I guess it is fun to try and speculate and reason it out.....

Hey KIR, I get what you are saying so well. These days the writers can't remember what they wrote an hour ago, so how could they be inventive enough to write a coat of arms/belt buckle to tie Cane into anything or anyone. I say if they did manage it, then they stole the idea from the posters/writers on this board. I'm just not seeing it either. I was with DJ on that, I thought they were going to the phone and giving the ladies a scan of his mid-section? I can see them using his mid-section to gain attention but not a detailed s/l such as the one suggested.

And Oreo, Lauralee Bell has made it very clear for several years that she is much happier working her boutique and doing her own thing than going back to a show where the s/ls are tired and no fun to portray. She has said it would take an awesome s/l to bring Cricket back and I seriously doubt that the current writing regime could bring about her return.
