I really like the Adam and Raf scene. I realize I am in the minority but I thought the writers have done a really good job of showing a man losing all sight of himself. Adam is complete losing his mind. It is terrible to see but it happens everyday. People do things they never thought they would do.

The new actor playing Adam did a brilliant job before, during, and after his scene with Raf. He really showed how tortured he was after he slept with Raf. He wanted to tell Heather but he couldn't. I hope the writers do not completely cop out on the s/l because of the bad press. I hope they continue to show Adam falling apart. I really want to see how this plays out. I hope Raf figures out that Adam just slept with him to keep him off track. I hope they do not make Adam gay because that would take away from the impact of what he did.

Did anyone else like it?

yes, I'm all for a homosexual storyline. I think everyone should be equally and fairly represented in the media, maybe Y&R can get some more minorities too.

Thanks, nice to know I am not the only one who thought it was interesting. Never saw it coming. The actors really are shining in their portrayals of the characters.

I'm on board with this also, but really don't see this being a gay s/l in any way. This is all about the depth of Adam's darkness and how far he will go in this venture to hurt Victor and his family. The fact that he seduced his gay friend/lawyer is a secondary point and not enough to rank this as a gay s/l. I'm looking forward to Adam's downfall and think it is going to be better handled by this new actor. I loved the original Adam, but you could tell his heart wasn't in it in the last couple of weeks.

ITA! It is not really a homosexual s/l. This is really about Adam and his desent into darkness. I love it!

I didn't really like the scene but one thing I did notice is that Raf is very attractive and I'd really prefer seeing him with a woman. And I think that the new Adam is not nearly as attractive as the first one. Adam is just trying to stay out of jail and I think that he will do anything he can to make that happen and he is just playin Raf for a fool. Hopefully Raf will see this and do something about it.

Hopefully! But is any dang body ever going to ever REALLY realize that Adam is what he is? Convicted on the diary thing and yet they all give him a reasonable doubt! So so STUPID!

YES! Adam's desent into darkness was brillantly played showing his anguish and disgust at what he did to a friend! Rafe will survive and probably pity Adam when he reveals what he did to Ashley. Great script and brillant acting!!

I'm glad there are some open minded people on the boards. I think a lot of people are using s/l to voice personal opinions about gay issue. Why shouldn't soaps include them and please don't get me started on the minorities. The only hispanics are housekeepers and yes we have Rafe the lawyer who is gay( we call that killing 2 birds with one stone) yes the "token" Winters family. Perhaps its not the bad s/l's that have ratings down but the fact that minorities aren't represented fairly and demographics have changed and people want diversity.
Anyways I'm glad I raised my children to be open-minded and non judgemental. My oldest went to Gay pride parade and said it was the most fun she ever had.
It's 2009 people let's just open up our minds alittle.
