Nick WANTED SHARON & NOAH and that is what he told her. He thought he could stay with his FAMILY(not Phyllis) and still see the baby whenever he wanted. Sharon was the one who said no, that she did not want to have to deal with Phyllis. Nick didn't chose Phyllis, he chose SHARON & NOAH, but Sharon changed his game plan. I don't blame her, who would want to deal with a whacko like Phyllis, she'll try to run you down before she kidnaps you while putting an octopus in your bed.
