Sue, I know you are Sharon's most faithful supporter but you must admit she is being very selfish here. She is hurting many people with a very serious lie. Nick, Jack, Noah. Why does she have to be with a man? Why not just tell Nick she is not ready to take the step yet and he can concentrate on Summer. She didn't have to run to anyone! She and Noah could have managed okay with a little truth and maturity. |

Sue, I've been on this board for over 3 years now and I think you've been on almost as long. As you know, there are "no bash" threads for most of the main characters, not just Sharon, so the "ad nauseum" must apply to them, too! |

Sue, as far as I know, this is a public board for viewers to comment as they wish providing they stay within the guidelines. As long-time posters, we already know there are non-bash threads for our favorites - we don't need others who come here to tell us how to post or where to post. Continue on Sue!!! |

The grave error, however, the writers are making is making Sharon out to be a Martyr again for Phick's sake, which after the past several weeks, no one is buying. Sharon would deny her own child the right to know her true father in order for the mistress who helped end her marriage to Nick and HER child live happily every after with Nick? It's so ludicrous that it's stunning. Every single message board out there is saying the same thing - whether you're a Sharon fan or not: WHY did she have to do that? Not believable at all. It's totally not in her character to deliberately hurt 3 people she loves dearly - Noah, Nick and Jack. She doesn't think her decision is hurting them, but is first and foremost protecting NICK, at the expense of the truth. This is where even ardent Sharon fans recognize that this sacrifice is just not in character for Sharon because it makes absolutely no sense for the reasons stated in this and other threads. No, this is simply a case of horrifically contrived writing on the part of the writers and just another reason fans have stopped watching. |

Thanks.....it must be a phicker's opinion and that don't bother me in the least.....  You are right the writers have a lot of repairing to do if they want to keep their viewers. |
