It's not like she was in danger so.....either way it's stupid and so is she (JMO) Neil lied to his wives too! But we are talking about his precious Lilly so I guess it's a given for him to jump in Cane's face. Same story different son-in-law. As for PC3 being gay in real life, what's that got to do with the past s/l? Y&R are not portraying homosexual men in a positive light if they pursue this. Why would you abandon your child and want nothing to do with him? Because you want to sex men??? Ridiculous...may be true for some but still ridiculous considering his undying love for Cricket. They just botched this whole show up! Lily along with quite a few other chicks on this soap annoy the shyt out of me but in this case, I find nothing wrong with the way she feels. I won't get into Phillip III faking his own death because he was in the closet because it's too damn stupid. As for Lily I believe it does affect her because she is married to someone that is a fraud and that would be enough for me to take a step back. Why on earth would she want to stay with someone who isn't who he said he is, that's just crazy. The guy's behavior/acts are down right criminal, he is switching blood to fake DNA test results, he's about to not only hurt her by all his lies but other people she cares about, for me that is a big deal and not something to take lightly. What Neil does to his wives is one thing but to not care about what happens to his daughter is a totally different story. I can't think of any good parent that would not be concerned for their children young or old if they are a true parent and care about their kids feelings. He just being a parent that's all and is entitled to be upset/disappointed in Cane, as does all the other people he will hurt. JMO I'm not saying that you're wrong but the s/l is just so stupid! Lilly has no idea who Cane is! She just knows he was raised by his uncle and basically didn't have a family. She should have pushed to find out more. To me, when you are in LOVE with someone you should at least hear what they have to say. PC3 gave Cane a family he didn't want and Cane excepted because of his fixation on "family". Of course Lilly is shocked but she never really knew his past to begin with. Lilly said she loves him for him without knowing much about his past. An explanation would be nice and then she could take it from there but to make all of those endearing statements about Cane and just walk away is just silly because love isn't as simple as flipping light switch...at least I don't believe it is. But, maybe she just wouldn't believe a word he said cuz he lied to her and was using her to make his story credible. Moral of story: Don't marry a man you know nothing about!  I lean more towards her not wanting to hear anymore crap and can't say that I blame her, that's all she has ever heard since she been back from Paris. LOL I think that she has tried to reach out to him as a wife should to find out what's wrong but he isn't telling, with good reason on his behalf of course. I guess then again I could be wrong because look at what they have Sharon giving up on for the sake of an ex mistress and her comatose daughter?  makes no freaking sense but at least Lily's reaction makes more sense than Sharon's. Gotta love the writer's that's for sure. LOL LOL  I hate ALL the s/l's going on! The women on this show are just too stupid for words and now they are introducing a gay s/l on false pretense(s)!!! WTH? Lilly's reaction makes sense but she's still the silly one for not pushing to know more about her hubby. I would prefer for her to have stumbled upon that info and confronted him about it!!! That would have been good! As for dumb dumb Phyllis and flower child Sharon...like I said, too stupid for words

I don't think Cane's action were criminal, he lied quite a bit but that's not criminal. I think when we know more of Cane's story, we will understand his motives for lying. I really believe this experience gave him the opportunity to have a family and have people genuinely love him. I think Phillip befriended Cane and whatever scheme they came up with, I don't think the intention was to con people and/or hurt them. Even in today's epi Cane to me showed quite a bit of compassion towards Nina, which to me says alot about his true character. I really don't know if their are any bad guys in this whole scenerio. I don't think it'll be permanent either. He may have had intentions to con people when he first arrived on the scene, but all that changed. Now I think he wishes he could redo alot of things. Charme, kinda off subject but I have to hand it to the Lane fans for sticking by their couple. Seems like the non-bash Shick thread has all but disappeared. I guess their fans, myself included, just got so disgusted with the writers latest little scheme that we're taking a breather. Thank you lynnw  I am a Shick fan too but, with all this back and forth, I think people are really disgusted and getting whiplash. I love both couples and on one hand I want them to have peace for a while, but on the other hand, if they don't have drama we don't see them on our screen. My advice lynn is to keep the faith. I know Nick and Sharon will find their way back to each other as well

I thought it was going to be something like he was involved in the mob or in a witness protection program or something to that effect.
