If this story line is true - then it makes the real Phillip a sleaze ball. Not because he's gay. I don't care if he's gay or not -- but who fakes their own death and has their family mourn for years and years without feeling remorse. |

I believe because of the things Phillip had done, he faked his death to keep the mofia or others from messing with his family. His death paid his bills off in full. I believe Phillip left being a wanted man and was hiding. I also believe he sent Cane to find out how things were and if it would be safe for Phillip to come back. |

Don't get mad I just have a Question, kind of statement too i guesss, so anyway wouldn't it be better if they want to add a gay charecter to just hire someone new to the show?(ex. Rafe) instead of ruining an existing charecter(even though he's been gone for years)? |
I will admit channel surfing may be involved (since DOOL and AMC is on @ the same time). I remember Phillip and it makes 0 sense in my book!

Not to mention - I know lots of gay folks who DON'T ABANDON their children... I was hoping they would bring Tom Beirz back as a likeable character -- but if they are storylining this that he did it all to "escape" and abandon people who cared about him - it's really a let down. Back when Phillip "died", coming out as gay was still a very hard thing to do. I wouldn't say it is much easier today. He may have felt that everyone he loved would be much better off mourning him as what they perceived him to be than to know that he wasn't that at all. |

I have decided to throw Y&R in the dumpster as well on my day offs i look at movies no more Y&R they could cancel this crap for all i care at this point i have had enough.

All I have to say is that either the writers think we are stupid or Cane was doing some pretty good acting. He was so shocked and surprized to find out that the baby was Billy's and then to fight for custody? If a cheek swab was done to determine DNA then he has to be related to Billy somehow. |
